Beware its possible that you may potentially receive refurb units parading as new.
I ordered from very last week with the 10% back promo which would have made it 179.99 and i received a box with the tamper seal broken on both sides and covered over with a second seal.
I had a replacement sent out and it had the same tamper seal issue but it also had a second serial number sticker covering a different serial number and what looked like a torn off delivery sticker.
In the end I went to a retail store and purchased it at the current price with no broken seals.

Are they allowed to do that? I had the same from Currys last week. Should I go back and complain?

Hopefully someone can help. I last used gear vr with my s9. Mum wanted me to set it up for her but long story short, it oculus have killed it so it can't be used.

Mum basically need very basic looking around world sites or vr ride games. What's the cheapest working alternative for something budget

You can install the APKs without the Oculus store then launch them direct rather than through the Oculus software. If you've updated to the latest Android that also removed some of the background stuff to let it work. Worth a try though. Mine works fine.

Got one of these recently & Walkabout golf is by far the best game I've played on this thing. The perfect chill out game. Beat Saber, blade & sorcery etc. are all fun, but I keep coming back for the golf.

I've got a rift S and can honestly say it's on par with it. Really impressed with the wireless link, I think the Steam VR is more responsive than the Meta streaming app. It's great being able to move around my living room without worrying about cables. I can now also blast my kids in rec room.
They enjoy the pass through camera....I understand this improved upon in meta quest 3? (edited)

Massive difference in the pass through. 2 is black and white grainy fuzz, 3 is colour and has just had a major software update to make it even better

Very also offers 20% off on some accounts atm, I found it on my account info page. I think if you don't use very for a long time they decided to keep sending you letters with 20% off until you do.

After Amazon recently decided to randomly refund me the full price of the RG35XX Plus handheld I bought last month, I put it towards getting another one of these and effectively only paid £60 quid.

Bought Drop Dead: Dual Strike Edition, First Person Tennis and Beat Saber and I’m pretty hooked (edited)
