PTFE, PFOA and PFAs are a legitimate health risk with cooking utensils.

PFAs are also known as forever chemicals because once they enter your body you can never get them out. They're well studied and confirmed to be carcinogenic.

Luckily ceramic pans generally don't contain them, so are much safer than traditional non stick pans.

However these specific pans are coated in PTFE

There is a recent Mark Ruffalo a movie called Dark Waters about DuPont covering up a spate of cancers in their factory workers which they knew was caused by it.

Here's a link if people want to learn more:

How healthy is frying on it? How long this will last?

I wouldn't buy them as they are PTFE coated. I made a post a bit further down with a link and some more information if you want to read that

I had various non stick over the years, all of them lose some or all effectiveness within a year. Bought stainless steel pans and guess what…. Still going strong after years of use. I admit I do buy a new non stick frying pan every 1-2 years as they’re better for frying but that’s the only thing I buy that’s non stick. (edited)

    These are ceramic not teflon.

PTFE is potentially unsafe. These are alleged to contain PTFE. Anyone care to evidence that? If they do, it’s very well hidden.

Search PTFE on the page linked to by the deal.

I bought 3 Ninja pans late last year. Got the 24, 28 inch frying pans (Got the Zerostick Premium) and the 26 inch sautee pan. No experience with the ceramic ones but I've just had the 3 Premium saucepans with glass lids because I was so impressed with the frying/sautee pans. My old pans are going to charity. Other than spending a fortune on Le Creuset I wouldn't go for another brand at the moment although I can't comment on long term use (10 year warranty so we'll see). I do have 2 Le Creuset casseroles but am happy with a lower price for the rest of the pans that I will use daily

BTW, I never pay full price for anything. The original pans cost me around £80 for all 3 from Amazon. I bought the saucepans in the sale directly from Ninja

I reckon people should move away from non-stick in general. Sure non-stick is almost necessary for fried eggs and thank you other things. But I don't think you need nonstick pops.. If you want to create a little brownie then where it sticks creates more flavour and it comes off and you add liquid. The person above said was that they last forever basically. It's all caveat even non-stick pans can be destroyed through warping and salt pitting
