    I'd just like to add, just because science can't or doesn't yet explain, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

    Science has proven that modalities such as Reiki does have a scientifically measurable energy change.

    @Proveright. You're more than welcome. To be frank with you ... so long as you don't mind me changing my name for a second ... I haven't read it yet so I can't comment on how valuable it is. For years, I could have done with having something that 'helps' someone that has this 'power' to deal with the negative energy that abounds from SOME people.

    There's no such thing as psychics.
    Or empaths:

    We're often just people who have learned to pick up on subtle clues: speech, tone, body language etc to avoid the anger or abuse of a parent/carer or maybe someone in authority. We develop this ability to protect ourselves from those situations.
    This practice makes us focus more on the needs of those around us rather than our own.
    So there's a lot of self sacrificing involved.
