Are they actually 'extra strong'? Can anyone confirm?

Or are they like the 'extra soft' tissues that are like sandpaper?

I can tell you that they are thin, see through and rather small. I bought some last year and won’t buy again.

Better off returning as they’re not good quality. As per the comments in this thread

beware of false advertisements, this is not extra strong. It is the same as other regular ones.

Confirmed, the order is the value pack and not as advertised.

Barcode checked by staff and value bin bags are shown.

I think they have put wrong one online, I went into collect and tried giving me value ones and I refused to collect. Refunded me back, but guy did say it wasn’t the ones you had ordered

The cheap ones are just not worth the hassle as they are prone to split open

Are these cheaper than what you can get in supermarkets?

The last time I purchased some was from Northfield Grovenor shopping centre in Birmingham many many years ago. I got 3 for £5 and the quality was excellent, very thick and strong bags. I am getting fairly low on them now and need some more but I will pass on these because it's difficult getting to Dunelm and they won't deliver due to costs.

Bin the deal! I usually buy this one from Home Bargain. Tie handle, strong and does not leak or tear. Bit pricey, 20 for £3 but saves the mess otherwise. https://home.bargains/product/5eca5e05-93bb-4e29-93ad-e31a1567f72f/buffalo-swing-bin-50l-drawstring-liners-20-pack
