Went to buy these in Putney but still show as full price unfortunately. Even rang it through the till to see if it was a ticket error. Is this store specific?
I used one to clean my metal extractor hood filters. Tried fairy liquid and very hot water and scrubbing and didn't do much. Left ones of these in with them and about an hour later they were much better. They clean using enzymes though so makes sense that they're more efficient. Also very good for dishwasher. They used to be individually wrapped, they are now with dissolving film, always dissolves for me using the eco cycle. I still have to use liquid rinse aid if I want plastic to come out dry though. All in all, really rate them, usually buy half a dozen boxes when they're on offer and stock up for the year (lol)
We switched to these from Sainsbury's own brand. Every bit as good, if not better.
I've heard you can use these on bogs and ovens, so not having a dish washer, (well I do but it's only used as an overflow cupboard), I'm going to be pursuing this as an investigative project.
Also Farmfoods do 4 for £12 but if you sign up to their newsletter you can always get £2 off £25 and £5 off £50 vouchers. I tend to get the bog roll and wash powder and stuff from there and use the vouchers.
Home Bargains are doing 2 for £6 so around the same price if you prefer there (y)
Far better at cleaning the oven front glass than pink stuff, also has done the best job so far at cleaning the glass inside log burner. Nothing else has come close
XD Have you only just realised that ?
I realised, whenever I happen to see HUKD I spend although not needed
Or pay 9p more in Savers if you are near one and get 300g instead of 250g (2 x 150g at 79p each).
I only use Fairy and an old dishwashing sponge. My trick lies in putting a bowl with water and a used lemon to microwave for 5 to 10 minutes - until il makes the inside all steamy so it is easy to clean afterwards with fairy and the old sponge. I use similar method for oven as well but adjust bowl to oven tray. I find Fairy much easier to use on these 2 as it does the job on cleaning and sooo muuch easier to rinse than oven cleaners. That's just my way that works for me in case it helps anyone.
