    For anyone that's interested i have been searching for hours on the internet to get specifications on the plug adapter and IMPORTANTLY the fuse the UK PS Vita uses as i want to match it up as authentic to the UK spec as possible.

    Turns out its uses a pretty standard figure of 8 plug with a 3 AMP fuse.

    And after more searching for the best price it seems the OFFICIAL SKY ones are perfect for the Vita and being OFFICIAL and fused with the correct amp fuse this has to be the best and safest way to go. Also at £1.35 and FREE delivery you can't go wrong.

    This is the better option IMHO than using a poundland plug adapter because that will NOT be fused.

    I bought my Vita a couple of years ago from Amazon Italy in a similar deal. I can confirm that it's dead easy to set up, and the language option is pretty much the first thing you're asked. Because it's a European item, it works fine on the Playstation EU store, and you only need a figure 8 UK plug adaptor to charge the console. This is a stonking deal if you're after a Vita, although I think that the only way to get the most out of the system is to have it as a companion to a PS3 or PS4, and to have a PS Plus subscription.
    Oh, and Tearaway, Minecraft & Borderlands 2 (after the patches have been installed) are the standout games on the system

    Console is not dead. It's not seeing much in the way of AAA releases any more which is true, but it sees good indie games every month. I have around 40 games for it right now, way more than I can keep up with, and more than I can fit on my 64gb card. Those alone are keeping me and both my kids busy for quite some time. We currently have two slims, and have another slim from the current Argos £139 bundle for my youngest for his Xmas. The Argos bundle is decent - Vita, Lego 8GB bundle, and retail Minecraft for £139. Not as good as this deal but pretty good. Minecraft and Lego 8gb going to eBay.

    you can use a euro plug adaptor, but yes, I simply use one of the above figure 8 power leads. It just plugs into the power brick that comes with the Vita.
    It uses the Playstation UK store once you have finished the setup and registered your PSN account.

    Extremely good deal. Just ordered one. Not really a gamer myself, but the kids will love it (and maybe I will warm up to it too LOL)...

    By the way, the latest customer review says (in German) that contrary to the details shown in the picture used by Amazon.de the customer received a PCH-2016 model in the box. Also the game Little Big Planet is now included in the download (previous customer reviews said the download was not available). Hope this helps. (Source: I am German.)

    Most of the games are complete rubbish only really little big planet worth having also they won't all fit on memory card anyway. This console is pretty much fiished its not really supported except by sony and debateable for how long given these sort of prices. However I think it's worth a punt to play with remote play on ps4, can also use as a spare controller on ps4 (debate able how good) so definitely worth a play.

    This seems to be £150 on amazon uk so definitely a decent saving.
