We had an identical Tower rotisserie about 8 years ago from Argos and yes you are correct they are a pain in the arse to clean unless you only use the skewers for small kebabs.
If you're cooking a full chicken like in the advert the juices splatter everywhere and you cant get behind the heating element to clean it plus as there's no thermostat so the chicken cooks quite quickly and if it's a large chicken its rather pink and raw inside (edited)

Probably cheaper to run than having a rotisserie accessory in the oven, but who has enough worktop space for all these cooking appliances?

probably for those who likes to invite friends for a party in the garden then they can show off this new gadget while everyone’s starving after one skewer.

I like to calculate my takeaways so they just meet the free delivery requirements, add on the discounts normally around 20-25quid a time
