My iphone 5 broke, is this a good upgrade?

Its definitely better than a broken phone.

Im a bit worried getting a Chinese brand devices, I am afraid it will break/malfunction after a week...I am also worried about the non detachable battery, what if it breaks or something? Can anyone confirm 100% that there are no customs to pay when taking standard delivery? Also is the "One-year replacement warranty in United Kingdom" free? If not how much is it?

If you don't want the risk don't buy a Chinese phone. It is what it is and for that price you can't expect the kind of aftercare you'd get from Amazon or John Lewis.

You want the moto g4 that tesco direct are doing for £125. No stress there.

Very nice, tempted at this price now. My LG G3 has been playing up for a while, and this would be a nice replacement.

Nice! I think I might order. What shipping option should I do? DHL or Standard. Obviously I would like it soon but I do remember hearing something about having to pay customs if its DHL.

I'm really tempted to buy it just for the sake of long term testing... Got a Nexus 6p and N5 but I was really positive after playing with my friend's redmi note 2 pro last Easter. Good value!

I ordered on the 3rd mate.Standard shipping.Received on the 16th.no issues. DHL attracts customs charges from what i can gather.

Any coupons to reduce the price further?

Ehhh can't decide whether to go for this or spend a bit more on the Note 4. I much prefer the design of the Note 4, but is there a Global version available yet?

If you order through the AliExpress app, it knocks off an extra 1% or so. Not a huge amount, but it all helps. :-)

Did the processing time take long? I ordered Friday and had a dispatch note this morning when I woke up - paid a little more than this deal (£136 all in) but oh well, looking forward to getting the phone

Xiaomi is one of the largest phone makers in the world. I own one of their devices and its a great piece of kit. Their quality control is really good. They are also one of few Chinese companies updating their phone's OS for a reasonable amount of time. 99% of the time you'll be fine. However, if something goes wrong, you'll waste a lot of nerves/ /energy/time/ trying to get in touch with their customer sevices, sending the phone back. That's the risk associated with buying from a chinese website.

dear . by dhl you have to pay 32 £ custom . so be careful . I just refused my order from ali express by dhl . let see what gona happen now . I did request to seller for refund .

does this have global rom yet? does it have play store installed?

i have bought this phone, but to be honest i am very disappointed. this is the kate version and since 3 weeks it is impossible to officially unlock the bootloader. You receive the sms approval from Xiaomi but the unlock fails. I am considering sending it back since the native OS (MUIU) is a huge battery drainer. Be wary.

we have a winner
GREAT PHONE
and as kumar said never choose dhl when buying from china

Had my standard xiaomi Note 3 since January, replacing a water damaged Sony z2. It's a solid phone, for the price it's very hard to fault. GPS could be better, but that could be to do with my metal phone case.

I do like the look of the xiaomi Note 4 though!

Sounds very tempting. This is probably the lowest it will go.
Has anyone purchased from this seller already? Can you confirm band 20 works?
Whats the best way to pay - Credit Card or AliPay?
#20
Looks as though it does, I would say this is red hot to be honest, this phone destroys most others.

Yes, I upgraded from Samsung Note 3 also. Great phone (warranty issues aside).

I bought this from a UK seller on eBay but couldn't sort out the software issues, so I returned it. It was a really nice looking phone though, but probably had chinese spyware on it. If there was a clean android version, I would definitely buy this.

Is it not possible to remove the warranty? What did people pay in Dollars?

Anyone know how to change the locale to UK?

Can anyone confirm if this is NFC capable? Seems very little information about this anywhere, and so this is a deal breaker for me, if it can't work with Android Pay.

It's a much bigger phone than the iPhone 5 so you may not like it. If you have a lot of games and apps in the iOS system that you find useful then you'll have to buy them again in Android.

I don't think it has NFC.

Yes, as this is meant to be the special edition version of Note 3 Pro, that covers all UK 4G networks.

Has anyone used the $27 EMS shipping option? Need this quick but don't fancy DHL and custom charge.

Anyone else noticed that Miui 8 is laggier than Miui 7?
