We haven't flown with Ryanair for a decade, any hidden charges, extras or tips to look out for?

Even smallest luggage and a seat is extra

I remember the days of £1 flights... That was incredible.

I've been to Shannon, Dublin and France for £1 before.
Back in the day before they started adding taxes.

Been flying Ryanair over 20 years now. Used to do cheap Easyjet flights too, although I think the cheapest I've ever done with them was about a fiver.

Never understood the snobbiness. Many of the cheap flights are less than a couple of hours.
I really don't care about not being sat next to the wife / family / friends.

I normally bury my head in a book on short flights or have a kip.

Some excellent prices there not seen these since before covid.

Maybe not quite this cheap but outside of peak times I seem to find 20 quid fares pretty easy to find all over Europe with Ryanair and similar airlines. The logistics of getting to and from the airports at both ends could easily cost far, far more.

Booked to go to Berlin this morning, off Tommorow 6pm lol

I’ve stopped using Ryanair now. Yes they have some cheap deals like this one but they’ve changed so many flight times and even days a week or two before the flight. If you have accommodation, car hire, car parking etc sorted it becomes a nightmare.

    Is it a common issue?

I'm considering going abroad to see a specialist doctor, so may be worth going with a more reliable airline do you think? (edited)

It's the return leg of these flights where they get you.
Ryan air happily charge you 12 quid outbound, but then 200 to come back

dunno, I just checked and I can go out to Fuerteventura for £12.99 and return 12 days later for £19.49
I'd say a return flight to the Canaries at this time of year for £32.48 is a bit of a bargain.

I also checked flights to Dublin. Can fly out next Tuesday and return the following Saturday for £26.
The car park will cost me more than that!

There are definitely always cheap flights from Newcastle if you search. Skyscanner is great for finding which are the cheap ones, generally from Newcatle the routes that are often cheap are Faro, Ibiza, Gdansk, Wroclaw, and sometimes Paphos. I've been to all of those in the past year for paying between £20 to £30 per flight each way. (edited)

Put "ryanair" in the title someone?

Worth noting that Ryanair only use Boeing planes, personally I'd avoid flying anything Boeing and stick to the likes of easyJet who only run Airbus planes
Great deal, just worth pointing out for those not following current affairs!

Mainly 737 800s which have a great safety record. That said I have been on their Max 8200s a few times without incident. (Max 8200 being broadly the same as a max 8, but with more seats thus requiring 2 more emergency exits)

Predictably just had an email saying that this sale has been extended "book by 22nd April"
