If you want to waste your money buy it. I had 2 of these and both loose air on the first use. Didn't get money back. Better to buy self inflated mat with foam.

If it is self-inflating, why a built-in pump? I have one, that you just open the valve and leave it, when its inflated close it.

It's not a self-inflating mattress (SIM), it's an air bed with a built-in pump. SIMs have foam with air pockets that expand and inflate themselves. It's misleading that these air beds are being described as self-inflating.

I had a similar one to this from Amazon, lasted me two years of very occasional use before it got a puncture that I could not locate (which I think was caused by me over-inflating). I found it much more comfortable than a thin proper self inflating mat and it is just as light to carry and packs just as small. However, since size and weight of it packed is not an issue for me, I've replaced it with one of the £10 deluxe airbeds with built in foot pump from Go Outdoors, not yet got to use it though.

I just looked at that airbed, there are a lot of negative reviews for it. I'd test it out at home thoroughly before even thinking about using it out and about.

Speaking personally, anything that was labelled as deluxe but only cost a few quid would set serious alarm bells ringing for me, but it's your money not mine.

Just got two of these for 2 weeks camping in Africa. Really comfy but one got a puncture which is likely expected (lots of thorns). Lasted till about 5am before it needed a quick pump. I need to put it in the bath and work out the leak and patch it. The built in pump is good.
