    The gameplay, controls and physics are all much better on Mario Kart 8. Well, basically everything is better in MK8.

    I found it has pretty bad slowdown and bad frame rate on some tracks

    Can't say I noticed slowdown, but there is the infamous glitch of sorts that bizarrely was never patched whereby you can't win on one of the single player challenges (this won't ruin the experience, but is noticeable when you get to it). I think this game is awesome, the tracks are almost eerie as they all celebrate so many long abandoned Sega ips. It's well worth getting at this price, one of the Wii U's best games.
