This is yet another Rakuten code deal so ignore if this annoys you.
I hadn't pre-ordered Smash Bros yet but saw you can pre-order from thegamecollection for £38.95.
So if you add Smash Bros (£38.95) to the basket then add something else from the same seller to bring total to above £40 you can use code:
SPEND40 (£10 off £40 spend)
**NOTE: all items have to be from the same seller for the code to work**
So I added the cheapest Wii game - Movie Studios Party (£1.95):

sorted byJust spoke to TGC and they've checked things over and there was an error with their Rakuten system for orders placed at certain times. They said they've just become aware of it, and are very sorry and will be sending out copies today alongside £3 vouchers, and emailing those effected.
Guy on the phone seemed genuinely apologetic, so at least some faith is restored. Hopefully!

The seller is actually The Game Collection selling via rakuten.co.uk - they are excellent in my own experience buying stuff directly from their own website so I imagine they would be reliable here also.

I will be spinning around if that Kylie game comes tomorrow.
Though I won't be surprised if Smash comes tomorrow. A lot of reviewers already have copies and maybe the game collection already received it and felt generous.

Yeah it needs to be the same seller so anything sold by thegamecollection on rakuten will do - the Wii games are the cheapest things they sell for £1.95 but you could add something else if you were planning to get it anyway (rather than end up with a rubbish Wii game which you have no interest in).
They have Duke Nukem Forever for the PC for £2.95 (New & Unsealed) if that's more to your liking!

Before I cancel my £40.49 order from Zavvi (the bundle with the GameCube adapter) would anyone be interested in it? I could try to ask Zavvi if they'd change the delivery address.

Make sure you're registered and logged in with a Rakuten account. Guest accounts don't work. It just worked for me and took £10 off before I added my CC details.
You can probably use it again by registering another rakuten account but I'm not sure whether they would be able to check if you use the same card &/or delivery address.

God why do merchants insist on using html5 or flash?! It does not work on iphone. Tried submitting the form about 10 f***ing times and nothing. But if I leave info blank then click submit it tells me to fill in the info. Flash and html5 is cancer and needs to be erased from existence.

sorry, they only give internet explorer at work and it glitches every page. I think it re-submitted the form every time I clicked refresh. but didnt tell me. I've deleted dups.
Doesn't include smash bros only the other game. It's just a pre-order issue on Rakuten where it's marked as shipped. TheGameCollection confirmed they are going to send pre-orders a few days before release.
It wasn't HUKD that was giving me the issue, it was Rakuten, I filled in all my delivery details and it never let me proceed. But its good now. I will never download an app for a URL page. That is what a web browser is for, so I do not need 100+ apps on my phone for each individual website.

I had an attempted delivery made today, but I missed it. I assume it was SSB, because the only other game I'm waiting for is Pokemon OR and they haven't dispatched it yet.
seems like they did ship today judging from someone's reply on Twitter and TheGameCollection favourited
