    I don't find these that useful, with a manual punch you can adjust the hole sideways if the first attempt isn't perfect by angling the punch,
    with an automatic punch then you've only got a fixed impact force every time and it's not so easy to angle it and press down

    great for windows though

    Auto is much faster for marking sheet metal, and most importantly can be use one-handed. Manual punches give more control for punching before drilling. Different tools really.
