Must be nice to be in a hyperoptic area! feels like all of us in Openreach FTTP areas are getting shafted.

and those of us exclusively in virgin areas

While £15 for 500Mb is a good price, companies could still be offering slower prices for even less. There are people out there that just don't need 500Mb...

    Wow, can't grumble at that

🔥 If it was available in my area I'd go for the £12/month 12 months deal. Have gone 5g Three with opened box router to escape the rip off clutches of the usual suspects

I'm currently tethering with lebabra at £9.98pm awaiting my virgin to be installed, lebara is more stable than my M500 offer 🤦‍♀️

you need openreach or community fibre competition in same area to get it cheaper

Just got it but the connection drops are super annoying
    Moss.b's avatar
Yes it drops significantly. Changing channels may help but I've only managed to get it to 30-40mb on WiFi.

They won't offer you this deal. Already tried myself.

If you do have any luck though, please let me know.

Keep seeing Hyperoptic engineers at the end of my road but sadly they're not up and running in my area yet, I could have paid my cancellation fee for my current fiber provider and would have still saved money with this offer!

Do they have the annual April extortion?
    ace.master's avatar
    Nope.

Great deal if you're eligible, shame that I have to pay more @ £35pm for 1gb knowing this exists but not eligible

Says new customers only but when mine expired last year, after about 10 mins on call with them talking about leaving, they closed my old account and made a new one with the £18pm deal.
