    Why this over a ninja or a vitamix?

    not sure on the vitamix as that's not one I've looked at but I was torn between this and the ninja but from the reviews I'd say this one wins out just for the better cleaning aspect and ninja have seal issues as can leak.

    Bought one a while back, the cleaning is a bit of a faff as the seal at the bottom often is where some food/drink will remain stuck but it provides you with a tool to clean it out.

    The self cleaning function is great but usually I give it hand wash and final clean with the auto function.

    Soup function works well.

    As a blender it's extremely powerful and well built, overall I'm glad I have it
