Just been on the phone to Tesco, here's what they had to say:

1. They will be getting stock in at some stores that are open at midnight (see: hotukdeals.com/visit?m=27&q=1724741), including the solus (£349) and Killzone and Knack bundles (£385). They do not have the Gamer Pack listed but may be getting them in.
2. There will be 2 queues, 1 for pre-orders, 1 for new stock.
3. There is no guarantee there will be enough stock for those who haven't pre-ordered.
4. They're not releasing exact stock information.
5. YOU CANNOT PRE-ORDER!!
6. And finally YOU CANNOT PRE-ORDER!!
7. Oh and just incase the trolls have done their job well and wound you up a gooden, YOU CANNOT PRE-ORDER!!

Expensive games, expensive hardware, greater potential for faults, no existing library of games, online community will be quiet, new games aren't even that good as developers are still getting used to the new hardware.

    Never understood the people who queue for hours to gamble getting one at launch. If you were planning on getting one for launch, why didn't you pre-order months ago when launch day stock was plentiful and guaranteed?

    Was about to preorder a second to put on Ebay but just checked the site and it now says "currently" unavailable. I chose Fifa as my £20 game, wanted another £20 game and was going to just put the console by itself on Ebay.

I cant see on the t's & c's.



    Nothing in t&c's says anything about the code being limited per customer so you should be OK, if you are just turning up on the night it is one peer customer though as you have pre ordered for fast track that does not apply. Apparently it's a separate queue for fast track so hopefully as long as you have confirmation they shouldn't question anything.

    Thanks - Just reserved 2 with the code for the £20 game, I used 2 email addresses, will be e-baying the other one later. Was told I can collect up to 24 hours after launch but then its gets released to shop floor stock.

    Pretty much what I did though I cancelled the second console and the other £20 game still showing on my order!
    Site keeps going from unavailable to available so keep checking back mate. My mate managed to get one not too long ago.

    I'm not actually sure. We will see. But yeah... There are already people … I'm not actually sure. We will see. But yeah... There are already people here so if you really want one you need to be quick.However, I've spoken to one of the sales clerks and they told me that they will be handing out raffle tickets at around 8 or 9 and once you have a ticket you can do whatever you like and then come back at 12 for you console. So that's nice. Be quick guys.


    Hopefully they do. At least then I'll be able to get something to eat and not stave to death.

    Just received an email with an extra voucher on top of the winter warmer one, looks like they are giving out Knack for £10, if you have a reservation and are using the winter warmer for the £20 game.
    Glad I didn't preorder one now, got myself a bargain here.

    This winter warmer fantasia offer is superb, I've just got lucky with another 24hr collection due to a cancelled pre order, AND Tesco honoured another £20 game, I'm going to try my luck with the £10 Knack deal as well. I sold my 2nd console to an old school mate I bumped in to in the queue. Result!

    I was told (by staff) not to bother trying my local as they let staff buy … I was told (by staff) not to bother trying my local as they let staff buy them up as the consoles turn up (as well as any deals/glitches found by hukd!!)



    That's bull, if there anything like ASDA we're not allowed to keep consoles for ourselves (staff), staff used to years ago but got wrong. I work in ASDA and it's going to be a nightmare for me to get a PS4 if there's people queuing all night. I'll more than likely try a couple of local stores and if they have none, just give up lol. I really should have pre-ordered but I AM AN IDIOT!

    There is a way around this, I ordered two consoles but canceled the second one after receiving both codes for £20 game. My order still shows one console with both killzone and battlefield 4 at £20 each. Will find out if I get away with it tomorrow night!!

    The answer is you cannot reserve or pre-order either at a tesco store or tesco direct. If you want one you will most likely have to go to a store that sells them when they are released at midnight friday. You can however, order them once released on friday-just go to tesco direct to order in normal way but this will depend on stock. Hope this helps as trolls are causing mayhem on this thread.
