The book that documented the tragedy and later became a TV show. Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 1000+ reviews.

It is a bit long but worth it with the level of detail. Injustice cannot be summarised in a trivial manner just to make it convenient to read.

Incredible how there's a book about it before the story has even finished.

The book was published 3 years ago before most had even heard about what happened; the TV show is based on the book.

Incredible how bosses lied openly when they knew the truth would emerge shows how badly and how corrupt our country is run, yet there's smugness and arrogance when they accuse others of same?

This book makes you never want to buy a stamp again.

They are going to drag it out as long as possible. The Tories hate giving or allowing normal people to have money. They have withheld money from pensioners who don't know about pension credit. They have ripped off the waspi woman when they changed pension rules. They have been trying to avoid paying the nuclear test victims, tainted blood victims and now post office victims. They are making them jump through hoops to get anything more than a few hundred thousand.

Thanks OP - this event is definitely a great scandal as it sadly highlights the deceptive nature of most human beings that manifests itself repulsively when they have power over others. As the saying goes, absolute power definitely corrupts absolutely.

NOT a scandal - it was/is a criminal organizational fraud - by the Post Office against postmasters
