    I'll wait for an actual 4k transfer (not one upscaled from previous 2k transfers)

    It's a bit of both. CGI scenes are upscaled (granted, there is a lot) and the rest are native 4k.

    If you have the Blu-Ray's already is this worth a buy?

    A lot of people have issues with the 4K transfer, which is at least partly upscaled using the same horrendous Park Road process that Jackson used on Get Back, though thankfully this is orders of magnitude better than how it’s been used on the James Cameron films. 

    But personally, I think it’s worth every penny just to get rid of the horrible green tint on the Extended Fellowship Blu. The current look isn’t quite right when compared to a 35mm print either, but it’s a hell of a lot better.

    Setting aside the fact the hobbit movies are not worth £15, the one you linked is not 4K
