Would this be advertised on their website? I may be being blind but I cannot see anything that mentions those films or the price.....
You have to do a search for the movie which should give you (for instance)https://www.cineworld.co.uk/films/the-jungle-book-movies-for-juniors

right! many thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Jungle Book was wonderful, a huge hit with me and my family. Well worth £1.80!
I would highly advise using their IOS / Android app rather than their website. It's much easier to navigate IMHO.

Looks like it's The Jungle Book for the boy and I this weekend!
I paid full price to see it when it came out, I'm more than happy to pay £1.80 to see it again!

btw this deal isn't that special - £4.99 a month is expensive

boostii
just bought a 4 month pass for £16.99 on eBay, plenty of others on there, slightly cheaper by my calculations.
I would be cautious myself as they only email you the codes and they are never guaranteed to work you have to contact nowtv support to activate as they are the old movies passcodes not the sky cinema passes. Not saying it's worse than this deal as it is cheaper but personally I would be careful with people selling codes on eBay

there's not much of a risk these days - Ebay will find in favour of the buyer in this situation - so will PayPal

cheats beware
Great timing. Just went on NUS app and got the code. Turns out my movie pass tomorrow didn't even realise

Excellent for me thanks! Just applied it to my now tv
Yeah, been around for a while, you can easily get £3.49 pm on the entertainment one too.

Though it's a decent discount you can often get pass with box bundles that work out a bit cheaper again per month so not the absolute cheapest, but admittedly not a bad result for a few mouse clicks...
Yes it's called a retention offer nothing new in this....

Weird all I can find is 3 months TV player plus.

if you do not need tv player plus offer would you be interested in swapping for this now TV offer? No worries if not interested or already have this offer.
Worked for me. Thank you! I just installed the app on my Samsung phone from play store and I was able to access the offer.

Is there a direct link? i cant see this anywhere
It is in Samsung my galaxy app may be selected customers only though. If it appears for you in this app click on link either for new or existing customers. In the web browser far right will be voucher code. This can then be applied manually as a voucher unless current pass is greater than 30 days to expiry. You have to 30 Nov 16 to apply voucher. if you do not have this app then install on any Samsung galaxy device may even work on others devices worth a try as a great deal.

Thanks, It must be selected customers only. I assume it would appear in the 'my offers' section. I can only see an offer for EE and for city breaks

That is a shame maybe try deleting and reinstalling with different email if it asks for one no idea if will work but worth a try I did this on previous Samsung offers and works sometimes

Wuaki and "HD" don't really go together - unless you happen to have an Xbox or some sorts of smart TV!!
None of their web interface for PCs NOR their IOS (or Android) Apps supports HD so it is pretty useless for me (but they push HD-content and will quite happily rent me the HD version if I want!!!)
The Windows UWP app supports HD content. HDMI out from a Windows 8/8.1/10 device and you're good to go. :)
Interesting! The Wuaki page does not mention anything about this. It does say that Windows PHONES will be OK for HD but not PCs.

Yes i know but Deadpool the films are normally very average if not poor

I agree. They have a big newish (couple of months old) film every week and I think it's worth flagging up something like this the first time it enters rotation. These films tend to then pop up again every few weeks until they drop off and appear on a streaming service.

I don't think you've done this deal justice. The £30 a month for the complete package is a cracking deal. That includes Movies, Sport, Box Sets and HD and Sky Go. For 30 quid that is a fantastic deal however I don't know why you added the Sky broadband and line rental on as that is not necessary. You can just get the TV for £30, no need for the broadband and line rental stuff. The code expires on 2nd September.

I did but some changed it and added the broadband deal:(
why has this been voted cold? i would have thought that £30 per month for complete bundle (which costs £80) is a cracking deal. That's 62.5% discount. Am I missing something here?

You'll need a laptop or PC since you need to use Steam.
As for LEGO Movie the Video game it's probably the worst LEGO game in recent times.
Depends on who's playing it - I own every Lego game for PC, and while my personal favourites are Marvel Superheroes and Lord of the Rings, every child that has ever played them on my PC prefers the Lego Movie game.
WB have got a sale on a lot of their other Lego games - have a look and see if any of them suit you better. http://store.steampowered.com/sale/wb_pub11

the scam with this bloody thing is the fact that it auto renew's straight after that month so your paying 10 quid or whatever it is, i wonder how many people they catch out with it?

how is that a scam?? its just good business to offer an incentive to try a product...if anything, its us scamming them, afterall none of us are going to keep it beyond the month.

Nice thanks just got these with my bank card no Canadian credit used
Thanks once again. Forgot all about this yesterday but, just bought a $10CAD gift card and added it to my account, after finding the address for a library in Alberta :p. That worked out at £5.76 then 50c more (29p) so should be looking at around £6.30 or so once exchange fees are added. Got both games for less than the price of one on the UK store so very very happy :).
And this was with my normal every day debit card.
Can you purchase these at roughly the same price by simply changing region (like you can for free games in US)? Or do you need a new account in that region?

As an afterthought. Does anybody know of a way to buy games digitally from xbox and stop them being available till a certain date (IE Xmas or a birthday)
It's not the same but I think you can hide stuff from your install section, but I don't think it will hide that it's been purchased / can install option from the store page.

Has anyone had the same issue as me with this..... I managed to get hold of one of these boxes (last one in stock at the Huddersfield branch). I really only needed it for the 4-month Movies pass!
Anyway when I tried to apply the voucher code on to my existing account, it wouldn't accept it. Even though the code was straight out of the box and hadn't been tampered with etc. In the end I logged a support case with NOW TV who advised me that this is a 'Sky Movies' pass, and since they have re-branded to 'Sky Cinema' you can no longer apply the passes! It was ok in the end as the chap at Now TV generated a new code for me to use.
I've applied countless passes over the years, but this is the first time since the re-brand to Sky Cinema, so possibly a lot of these old stock boxes are being supplied with obsolete passes!
use the online chat and ask them to apply the voucher

Voted hot, but Amazon has the 2016 box with Freeview HD tuner and play/pause across the streamed channels for £15 more.
I believe the new box needs an aerial plugging into it to receive the Freeview channels. Does the Now TV element itself also require the aerial connection? If not, it may help with the 60GHz issue with this 2015 box that makes HD sport a bit harsh on the eyes (there'a slight, but detectable flicker in my experience).

Everything plays through at 50hz so may be worth it for that alone.

NowTV doesn't need an aerial but the pause functionality works on the live channels. The Freeview (HD) requires an aerial.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm fed up with Amazon and what they've done with their "Today's Deals" section. It seems to consist only of items which state "Please note that I have received this item at either a discount or for free in exchange for an honest review".
For some reason I don't want to buy anything someone has received either free or for a cheaper price. And despite what they say I'm sure their reviews aren't totally unbiased.
And when you see all 5 star reviews that say something similar then check there review status and find its there first review.
That's not strictly true or accurate, it also has a review from a "verified customer" of ..... 1 star - utter rubbish!

* Please note I have not been paid or given discount for this post

I get that - but my point was that most of the items on the "Today's Deals" page are items which have been given out for free or more cheaply. The reviews for those items are made up of some verified customers and some targeted reviewers.

I just don't like it - maybe it's just me :-)

"I've sold my soul to Amazon in order to get loads of free tat that I can offload on unsuspecting victims on Ebay. I'll say I like poo if it means I'll get to lick it for free. Bribing me will get you a five star review."
Got a similar item off Ebay a couple of years ago. Never had a problem, got a link in the box for map updates and it takes normal data for POI/speed cams etc. Mine has a FM transmitter which pretty good, so music from the SD card can be used. For the price it's pretty good.
let's face it, if amazon was a shop, trading standards would have a field day.

I bought it from one pound in Poundland

I thought this was a biography of Robert Maxwell, disappointed.
It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.

It gets a cold vote for the stupid title. And has already been said , not even close to being lowest.

When was it a lot cheaper than this for the new freeview box?
p.s. i saw this deal on amazon before you posted and I also agree its a great deal! heat :)
i dont pay any attention to the heat an item recieves any more.

Just try and filter the topics to exactly what you might actually be interested in buying and look at everything, it was better way back in the day when only the thoughtful people knew about hukd, now it's just like mse when that went 'mainstream' ....
Voted hot as equal best price apart from JL price glitch and best on Amazon. I think cold votes already called in the thread ie price glitch, voting cold on a blue sign and write up on OP thread. it should be hot though good deal OP
jco83
Why is this so cold ? :|

Because most people just click COLD if it's already blue without even reading. It was 800+ a month ago.

Sorry its gone up in price Kindle Price: £2.25
Kindle Unlimited: £0.00
Appeasement is completely different to out and out collaboration. I've heard that superficial comparison before, and it's just that, facile. We gained no land or territory from it, we just, naively as it were, along with our allies, tried to stop a European war from breaking out by giving Germany the German speaking Sudetenland along the Czech border.

My late grandfather was Czech, and he did initially feel aggrieved with what happened, but he fled when Germany marched into the rest of the country. Being Jewish he had to get out and he first went to France and then Britain where he joined up. He did plan to go back to Czechoslovakia after the war but couldn't, or at least wouldn't, after the Soviets took it and it merely changed from one dictatorship to another. He therefore stayed and became a loyal British citizen. He held no grudge towards the country that became his.

You will always get at least one pseudo-intellectual with their hatred for Churchill, sitting in the comfort of their smug 21st century armchair, preaching their pacifist views on how we should have sat back and done nothing. Despite this hell bent tyrannical fascist war machine destroying Western Europe - while its tyrannical communist confederate provided it with every resource available* - the British Commonwealth, with its wealth and democracy, would have somehow stayed safe and untouched if we had not gone to war.
The guy is living in cloud cuckoo land, devoid of any realistic historical or military persepective.
*People forget how they carved up Poland between themselves and Stalin's invasion of Finland. The huge resources it transported to Germany for its war effort, before the two dictators fell out.
U just forgot how we ''sold'' Czechoslovakia to Adolf to save peace lol

I don't and never did hate Churchill. I have no experiences of hating any person, dead or alive. It is also the case that I'm a pacifist...though not due to any religious beliefs.

You write of people forgetting. But how can one forget historical events which are rarely taught them?
