    I use this on my Wahl Balding clippers after every use, they're still going strong after about 12 years or so and I'm only part way through my 2nd bottle in all that time so the life this adds to the clippers makes it a no-brainer.

    Are you supposed to oil clippers after use and not before? I've been doing it wrong in that case, as the instructions only said to use the oil, but not when to use it.

    I would never have thought about Pets at Home for clipper oil. I got mine on eBay.

    I usually uae wd40 on my clippers and it feels like it does the same job. Does someone more knowledgeable know why this would be better?

    I looked into oil when the initial bottle ran out. I'm sure WD40 wasn't suitable, but I can't remember the reason. It needs to be a mineral oil. The ones I found specifically for clippers were huge bottles I could never use. I got sewing machine oil from eBay.
