sorted byDam it, I might send mine back now. Any chance of the link for the same deal for the PS4?
You're better off asking santa
Extra pads are always welcome and who doesn't make use of Argos gift cards?
Going rate for the pad in recent times has been anywhere from £20-35 on here, so I put the cost of the console alone at about £123 given the voucher value and resale value of the digital codes. For the standalone 500GB console £123 is awesome.
Thanks OP.
500GB is the storage capacity for holding game data. 1TB is marginally better than 500GB but you'd better off getting this deal and purchasing a Seagate 2TB hard drive AFAIK, No difference to the speed.
If you have fast Internet, it doesn't matter much. You can remove games when you run out of space and add them again later.

From the Argos site product description/spec:

Just collected, got a £20 voucher AND a £10 voucher by email and a White Slim controller worth extra...
HOT HOT HOT
I guess that depends on how much UK stock is left of the old Xbox model.
Great price.

sorry replied to wrong comment
I didn't know 9 year olds were using PS4s now.
"FastTrack customers who make a purchase on a product-linked gift voucher promotion e.g. get a £10 gift voucher when you buy a Tablet for over £100: Customers who purchase a product which has a gift voucher offer applied to it in its own right, will receive their product-linked gift voucher on collection in-store - in addition to the voucher code (sent via email) following their FastTrack online transaction.
In effect, customers paying via FastTrack will receive two gift vouchers, one via email and one via in-store. Please note, gift vouchers received in-store can be redeemed in-store or online at argos.co.uk. Emailed vouchers are only transactional via digital channels: online, mobile-optimised websites, mobile & tablet apps."
Computer says no.
Worst comes to worst I can use the voucher on a play and charge kit or game in the future. Thanks for the reply
I went ahead with this Argos deal instead of the Tesco one because I could pick up immediately in store.
I'd read all the comments and T&Cs in anticipation of the issue with the £20/£10 voucher situation. I ended up coming away the first time with the £20 promotion vouchers you get with the purchase of this specific Item; combined with special offer no.1; the first lady I spoke to in store just kept playing dumb when I explained why I thought I should get an extra £10 voucher as part of the 'spend £100' offer that was still running. Not ready to give up I contacted customer service and explained I had not received a £10 voucher for spending £100, and they kept telling me to go in store and they should give me the voucher. But I said I don't want to stand there having a debate in-store with them for a second time as they might just refuse to give me the voucher again (Of course I knew they were having issues with this offer so I had to play a little dumb as well just to push things forward), and at that point the customer service lady rang the store and basically told them to give me the £10 voucher if I came in. So they did give me the £10 extra in vouchers when I went back in.
I then put the £30 worth of vouchers towards another offer in store, where you buy an Xbox One controller and get Halo 5 free, so I ended up paying £15 for that Item; which was worth £45.
All in all I paid £215 and got the console package, an 2 extra controllers and Halo 5. I'm happy

I'd double check this isn't a download code
its not the lunar white it's the new one S controller that retails for £15 more!
White one says Xbox one controller and not one S ?
EDIT :- It infact is a new version of the controller ! The white one !
but it is, look at the bit that should be black by the home button and read the description, it's Bluetooth
Hot from me.
so you get an extra £10 for just collecting when emailed?
I asked for my receipt to be emailed and it had the automated £10 gift card for £100+ spend attached
