I've got this phone. I dropped my Poco X3 in water. It was a brilliant phone.
So, this is my new phone, thinking it would be good.
It's horrendous, the phone rings but no answer button appears. The OS is horrible. Avoid at all cost.

I had a Xiaomi first which I returned because it was laggy and glitchy. Then got a Poco X3 which although a bit heavy is 🔥

I bought a Poco M5 for my mate and for the very first time in the 12 years I've been buying her phones I haven't heard a single complaint from her - so far.

Having said that, my husband has a Xiaomi. It's not bad. Just not as smooth as the Poco. (edited)

Just to let those of you that bought the phone, I checked for available updates this morning as was able to update to Xiaomi's newish HyperOS system from Mui 14,

Hyper OS version - 1.0.4.0.
Android version - 14
Android Security version - 2024-01-01

If you want a good basic smart phone with a great screen and you don't want to do six things in parallel regularly, this phone for £109 delivered is the bargain of the year so far.

Is the whole panel over the lenses on the back glass? I have the Poco M5s and the glass on that one cracked so quickly. Got it replaced cheaply, but was a hassle and a disappointment. Looking to avoid that again, but need a second phone.

If it is one piece I would suspect it may be plastic, just thinking how would you mold / pour glass into that shape.

Can you confirm if it is plastic or glass? Do not want to get this phone if it is glass as just too vulnerable on the back and was crappy quality glass on the Poco.
