    Hey sorry to ask on here as I know you'll get loads. I'm looking for the best camera phone possible with a budget of around £500.

    Missus currently has OnePlus 8 pro and wants a good upgrade.

    Pixel 8 / OnePlus 12 are on my list (if I can get a good offer..) anything you can recommend please?

    Pixel 8 has a great camera. If you are looking for a great all-rounder, s23 is a nice phone considering the price it is now. Hope that helped (edited)

    As OP has candidly said in the description, 8gb/256gb configuration should provide good performance.

    Thanks, just ordered. The Xiaomi Pad 6 has expired so this will do nicely at a lower price. It's only for Netflix and iPlayer anyway so will be a nice upgrade from the fire hd10 which no longer supports netflix or iPlayer etc
