Yep, just checked that and they do :thumbsup:

Sainsburys in Basingstoke sell two different sorts of "00" flour, one is in the speciality section which is Molino Spadoni Gran Mugnano

Packet looks like this

and they also sell McDougalls Supreme Sauce & Pastry Premium "00" Plain Flour, the packet looks like this

Not sure how much they are, they are quite hard to find!!

Waitrose would be a good bet I think. I remember selling this many years ago in a Deli, I think it was either branded Farina or called Farina.

The other alternative is to approach your friendly local Italian restaurant/pizza house and see if they will sell you some. Chances are though their Pizzas will come from Tesco's freezers

Did you ask CSI ? It could possibly be on a different section to the flour ?? Maybe on wholefoods or similar ?? Don't know for sure just thinking aloud as it were.

Doves Farm Buckwheat Flour 1kg £1.69 a Kilo !!
Stoneground from naturally gluten & wheat free buckwheat, sometimes known as sarrasin, this flour has a speckled appearance and slightly sweet taste. This 100% buckwheat flour is ideal for pancakes, blini, noodle and pasta making.

I am making it right no using 50% semolina / 50% plain white (sieving 10 times lol).

Still learning. Been watching far too many cookery shows so thought I'd get off my fat backside and make some decent food rather than watching someone else do it whilst my microwave is on :-D

Glad you are having fun, cooking and getting it right takes lots of trial and error, I tend to look up the recipe and of all the different versions I pick the one that most suits my ability and the ingredients I have/most want to use, always follow the recipe to the letter, always found if I take shortcuts it goes hideously wrong!

When you find a recipe that works email it to yourself, quick way to find it again without trawling through hundred of sites trying to find it!

I find this BBC site is great as I can find recipes by ingredients and also level of difficulty etc.

Any good ones can be added to a personal binder on the site. Although I generally print them too and store in a foolscap folder.
