We don't have to pay for braces privately. Leads to loads of adults with genetically bad teeth that look fine due to brace correction. Passed onto children as people with bad teeth are not sexually filtered out via rejection from opposite sex (who may also be hiding bad teeth in their genetics). More bad teeth. More braces. Cycle continues. Simples.

School photos are a nightmare trying to prevent flash reflection.

Although Americans also could have bad teeth, most people who are on tv(celebrities) have white sparkly teeth but British people who are on tv have yellow teeth...however high they are paid, including Jeremy Clarkson... They are a little more obsessed with teeth than we are. It's just a cultural thing. Our teeth are fine, just not up to their standards generally.

Do they, everyone I know look after their teeth? A huge amount of Americans really do believe everything they see in the movies, I think they take more care of their appearance than they do their brains hence why British people are so much smarter
