Pleased to say this code works, I was afraid that as an existing customer I may not qualify and also the long duration of the discount code seems very generous so thought it may have been removed. Thanks!

COLD COLD COLD Utter waste of time, money and batteries For a start they're not self-heating: they need batteries and the amount of heat you can get from them is tiny for the cost. If you want to stay warm, spend the money on a sweater or a pair of thick socks. They won't need expensive and wasteful batteries to operate.

oneeyedvic

Echo that - bought this for my wife in January - absolutely useless

Jefft

The waistcoat is a complete waste of money, even at £20. I haven't tried the insoles.

Went to get a set in the Poole store today. Only large in stock unfortunately...:x

MercedesBenzAMG

I've got a pair of these, they're rubbish, save yourself the tenner. Battery life is **** and it only heats your palm (not fingertips which is what it should be for).

oneeyedvic

Bought one of these for my wife who gets very cold at a shop that she works at - absolutely useless.

I've had this cover for a while - had to have my hot water tank replaced - the tank alone would have been £600 so well worth the money

emmablondy

i used to have this cover, but found out that alot of plumbing problems wernt covered so i was paying money every month for this cover and still had to pay a plumber to fix my problems, better off just getting a plumber when you need one, it works out cheaper.

paul.jacobs

I could have done with one of these today having been outside working in the p i s s i n g rain all day - I don't think its a gimmic. Plus with a bit of improvements with a lithium ion battery from E B A Y would improve the battery life

Im with Powergen, I actually think they are ok! Whats wrong with them? I only moved into my new place in June (first time buyer), I priced em up and Powergen seemed quite good, I opted for the Online Super Saver account. If anyone recommends I move can you explain why? Thanks guys

sensei

I just changed to british gas the other day got £60 quidco, next day they bumped it up to £80. Doh!

boznoz

i am one of the mostly useless that work for them:oops: thats how I know about this offer. its not really common knowledge yet and wont be advertised.

ferple

Not wishing to rain on anyone's parade, but I'm with Powergen and they are the most useless bunch of (ahem) idiots I've ever had the misfortune to give money to. Moving away from them asap.

neilc

Cheers wolves, rep added as you have just saved me £80. I was on hold to Homeserve and flicking through here saw your post about British Gas.

Was looking at B&Q earlier. Dont for get 5% quid co. I am looking for good deal on fire and fire place these are expensive, most sellers don't even advertise their prices on line because they can be in the thousands. Fire I would consider is out of stock.

lmao. guess it would be good for motorcycling in winter.

snedger

I keep on putting off buying one of these. It's got to be a better idea than thermal underwear - which works, but, does not have an off switch and people in Tescos can be so unreasonably objectionable when you need to take off your damart vest and longjohns. There's some heated gloves as well. Bonus: if you get tired/drunk and lay down in the road, then no one will park on you, so long as there are traffic wardens around.

millarcat

Great idea, especially if you're into fishing! :)

edi

Rechargeable batteries are the way forward. 40 C is pretty warm and you cant stand for long ;-)

boydent999

Lol no mention then, if on all time it might/will burn you then? :)
