The flight times are generally horrific but you dont find this out until you have paid. The small print even states you may not get the number of nights booked due to the flight schedules Eg departing at 6am from Rome Good price but just bear in mind you may just have one full day there which is about 2 less than you really need to appreciate Rome

You really need to listen to your own advice. This was taken from the Qatar website. Educate yourself you idiot.

thehoneymunster

If you need to come on to the internet and lie, good for you. I can't honestly be bothered anymore, you've contradicted yourself several times. And Q Suite is deffiently a First Class product. Well done.

Michaelgell91

thehoneymunster: Honestly. What is your issue? The A320 only has recliner seats on that service. The pictures you posted of Qatar Business Class, the bottom one is a Q Suite, which costs a lot more than Business Class, as is actually one of their First Class products. I was trying to explain there was a difference between a lie flat and a fully flat bed in Business Class, which there very much is. Fully flat means that it's adjacent with the aircraft floor, i.e. 180 degree angle. Lie flat means it's the seat converts so it is flat, but doesn't mean that it will be adjacent with the aircraft floor, so not an 180 degree angle. You originally boasted that you can get a Business Class flight with Qatar for £999, and I said, not ex UK like the original post, which was my first point. I am well aware that Qatar have won Skytrax Best Airline 5 years, the first airline ever to do so, but thanks. Also, you must have a time machine, as you apparently flew from DXB to PER yesterday at 8AM? When Emirates only have the one daily service from DXB to PER at 02:45. Nice trolling bro. The Q suite is a business class product, Please do some research before you try to troll. Also the izmir-doha-singapore return flight also costs 999 and is in a Qsuite business seat. I understand your point regarding lie flat and fully flat, but according to the Qatar official website the A320 that serves the Izmir - Doha route has 180 degree fully flat bed and so does the second leg onwards to Asia. I honestly don't know what your problem is, you clearly know a small amout about aviation yet can't go on the qatar website and check what you are arguing about before you post. Also I was on EK432 to brisbane via singapore, got a virgin flight to perth. Thanks for checking though. P.s heres my flight from edinburgh to dubai on the 777

Rubbish. You want soulless? Go to Six Flags New England. Total junk filled with copy-paste rides all paid for by DC comics, complete rip off. Alton Towers has character top to bottom.

mario999

Not used the hotel before, will there be enough to keep a three year old occupied on the first day if the park itself is closed? Check in is 3pm, so just wondering we would be doing on that first day.

sengoku808

I know there are a lot of people discussing the quality of Alton Towers Theme Park in general (bit strange as the park will be closed when most people book this) but the overnight stays (we've been twice) have been great. It's not super busy, the entertainment is actually pretty good for kids and the water park is fun. Definitely geared towards families with younger kids but for the price, you can't really go wrong.

sengoku808

The water park is usually booked for the 2nd day (check out date) but we wanted to change it to the day we got there so when we asked (Alton Towers customer service) they said it should be fine to change, it's just based on how busy the water park is on the day you go. If there aren't many people in then they'll let you in no problem.

ekimuk

question: which day can I go into the waterpark? the check-in date or check out date?

Agreed, some have been ok, some bloody awful like chiquitos. I would never used that restaurant again. Groupon support was a joke. Voucher didnt work on sat and theyre support wasnt Available. alan04

yes you need one voucher for each person travelling, add one to your basket apply the discount code, try GOSTAY or UPTO30 which will take 15% off instead of MAMMA which was only 10% Then buy the second voucher and again apply the discount code. If you dont do it that way you only get discount on applied on one voucher instead of both But bear in mind they will most likely offer you late flight outbound with early flight coming back so you wont get the amount of time you might think you would without paying more

alan04

Totally agree it should give more details in the offer, it makes it sound like you can choose the airport and departure date, luckily I got the airport but not the date i asked for. The original offer was to land in Berlin at 22:45 on day 1 and the flight out was 06:30 on day 3. So would have got just over 24 hours in Berlin. I was offered two options one for earlier/later flights or extra night and earlier/later flights both for extra money, so the prices and options are definitley misleading

PowerDaniel

so i booked this last night, bear in mind, the flight times, they are both the cheapest flights, mine were leave the uk late evening, and leave Germany early morning, so really only 1 full day, but you can pay extra to get the early flight. The French connection was set in Marseille I seem to remember. Could be totes awks post Brexit on a cruise stuffed with loads of French passengers.

Arold

We've tried most cruise lines, ocean and river. They all have strengths and weaknesses. We've never risked C&M, tried Fred once (never again), love Viking (ocean and river), looking forward very much to Saga's fab-looking new ships (booked in Jan and July), but regard P&O (their smaller ships) as the best compromise. We like P&O for value - cruise prices, bar prices, no 15% added to everything, gratuities included, reasonably priced 24x7 internet (instead of crazy by-the-minute pricing), GBP on board - also things like minimal pressure-selling of art work etc., quiz questions relevant to Brits, very little American-style junk food. Yes, there are some whingers, but no more than on other lines and they're easily avoided. Before taking a risk on Costa, check the reviews on cruisecritic.co.uk, typically 2.5 stars out of 5. Most of their ships are big, too, which many will hate.

jinkssick

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but this in a nutshell is the worst thing about cruises and stopping at different ports. The port was shocking and desolete but away from there the island was excellent. Lovely people. Lovely beaches.

The Mercure in Perth is a bit dated. Used to be a Stakis years ago and was called "The City Mills Hotel". It has a quirky bit in the bar area where there's an old mill wheel and you can see the town lade flowing underneath.Situation-wise it's fine as it's just on the peripheriphery of the city centre so easy walk to bars, restaurants. etc. Bar prices are expensive and I'm not sure what the food is like. Never been in the rooms but have been told some can be a bit hit and miss due to the age of the hotel building itself.

Lol..some of the 5 stars are quite expensive in Goa. On a serious note with an OCI one has parity with Indian nationals in buying residential property. You can open a bank account , set up a company, live there as long as you want . But you cannot vote or apply for government jobs or stand for elections.. (angel) PS: some states do not allow people to buy property there unless you are domiciled there .But that rule applies to Indian nationals also.

JizzKid

Expired? Was interested @ that price. Dates depending

Jacinto_Fernandes

It's a picture of it during peak time and season, hence why it's crowded. Goa has a lot of beautiful beaches so finding a less crowded one is not a problem.

redduck

Are you sure you can buy property with an OCI card? It might be cheaper than a hotel (lol)

ukdoctor

OCI is enough mate.. In fact If you have an OCI you can live ( or even work !!in most professions*) in India for as long as you want .. (y) *AFAIK an OCI has almost all the rights of an Indian national to work, live and buy commercial and residential property without any restriction. But you are not allowed to buy agricultural property and are not allowed to apply for certain government posts . I am an OCI and you can pm me in case you have any other questions.

bozo007

You are probably comparing a ticket bought on the day of travel with a ticket booked a month or more in advance. Eurostar is more expensive than flights when bought just within a few days of travel. Just before the summer holidays, I spent £278 for a round trip ticket to Brussels in standard class because most trains were full and it was booked just 2 days before travel. The number of tickets Eurostar makes available at sale prices is quite low compared to the capacity they carry.

Ahhh yes, brings back memories of being stranded up a Mountain in Banff and coming down a double black diamond slope on my backside through a blizzard. Never been so drunk at the apres ski after that experience.....

evertonamo

We stayed in Canmore in 2017 and it was lovely. Banff is a quick bus journey, really easy. The hard part is getting from the airport to Canmore, we paid quite a bit for a transfer which was fine. The other problem was getting to lake louise but there is an incredible company called Hop On Banff which takes you everywhere and guides you! Amazing and only $50 for the day! I got engaged at the top of the beehive cliffside at lake louise so this place holds a very special place in my heart.

nzmtbz

loved the Canadian Rockies! i stayed in Canmore for 2 nights and Banff for 1 night in August 2018. In my opinion providing you have a car (which for Canada is the best way to make the most of your time getting around) then either place is a great to stay with Banff having the edge for a more developed tourist town (with the crowds!) and places to eat/drink. Wherever you go in the Rockies the miles pass by quickly whilst you gaze at the amazing scenery. I too also went to the Sushi restaurant with the Sushi train set...as it was one of the last places to close.. but also one of our best meals in Canada!. There are so many beautiful places to see - I travelled with my wife and 2 kids (8 & 12) and they loved it. The Icefields Parkway (https://icefieldsparkway.com/) on the way to Jasper was stunning. re: the deal - flights are great price, unsure on the hotel.

Bobbins

I’ve also done most NPs west of Denver and I agree about Banff. But, Yosemite is on par.

Adnarm92

You have to have a car to visit this part of the world. Expect crowds so early starts if you want to experience it a little quieter. Canmore is great, much prefer it to Banff as its quieter but still has enough close by. To put into perspective just how nice the National Park is, I have driven most of the USA and Canada in a van, and Banff was easily the best national park we visited, simply incredible place.

Not as stupid as your car comment and what are you doing on a diesel guzzling coach thread anyway ? shouldn't you be taking a bike.

bazwinder

What a utterly stupid comment. Anyone got any spare codes please?

waterloo

brett95

Anyone have any spare codes, could do with a few but would be grateful for any amount of course. :)
