No the BT deal is the Flip 4 speaker which is more singing and dancing on specs.
I had no idea there were two modes. Can you switch between them using the buttons on the speaker or does it have to be done through the app?
Did you def set them up as ‘stereo pair’ and not ‘party mode’?
I've got a flip4 and had it paired with my mate's flip 4 recently and they both played the exact same sounds - I was expecting a proper stereo, meaning each of them would be a separate channel and play a slightly different music to create the stereo effect. I was surprised and we checked on multiple songs, some with very distinctive differences between what should be played in L and R speakers, but they both played the same tones. The speakers also lost the connection and were breaking up (one of them at least) from time to time. Overall, we weren't impressed at all. We linked them via the button on the speaker, maybe doing so through the app (is it even possible?) would solve the issues? Other than that, flip4 is one of my best buys. I got it for £60 over a year ago from an o2 deal posted here. The portability to sound quality ratio is unbelievable. It's enough for everyday use, unless you're throwing a big party - then possibly two of them linked up properly could do the job and you can take it anywhere, especially with it being fully waterproof.
£71.99 for me ;(
