Love my JBL Flip 3. Bought it 2 or 3 years ago for a very similar price and have used it extensively since. It has decent battery life between charges, is well-built and durable with a really nice, balanced smooth sound for such a small speaker.
Ah, that's a shame. Would be a great price - I got a Beam last year from Hughes Direct in the 20% off deal, but they don't seem to have any Sonos stuff in their store anymore. Shame!
Ah thanks, I didn't realise that eBay themeselves take the hit (I assume £20 in this case). How nice of them :)
I got one! Had it lined up last night.. Let's hope it's honoured!
Won't make any difference to the seller, they'll get £399 still
My order went thru OK.
Got my first HomePod refurbished from Argos eBay, was excellent. Would have loved a second. Great price.
No problem at all! (highfive)
I managed to swipe one the second you posted the offer. Many thanks; been waiting for a deal like this!
Was 2 left hopefully helped someone :)
Was £5.09 last week, I'm returning the one I bought, the battery life is TERRIBLE! You cant do much with 3 hours per charge.

Bought one of these a couple of years back, battery packed up after a year and now it won't charge up. Cold from me.
"Brighten up those visits to the beach..." While ruining everyone else's
I think you're a bit upset about something jimjim, there is no misleading advice here, other reviews have commented on the Fender sound being clearly audible with this speaker and as someone who plays regularly and owns Fender and Blackstar amps I'm happy to say it sounds great both as a bluetooth speaker and as something to plug a guitar into. You might also want to consider that many guitarists use PA systems to give their gigging some extra oomph. PAs are not dedicated guitar amps but they do the same job this will.
Its wont have the fender tonal quantities, its does even have a drive circuit. Buyer beware, be cautious around some of the misleading advice in this thread. If you are looking for a portable guitar amp and Bluetooth speaker, this is not what you're looking for. Try something like the awesome the black star fly 3. :)
Yes, you can plug a guitar into a stereo via pedals or processors. The fact remains however that this is a stand alone amplifier, I can plug in my FX pedals or chuck it in the car just as I would with my Fender guitar amp and not only does it have the looks and tonal qualities people associate with Fender, but I don't have to carry around a separate stereo amp and associated speakers as I would using a stereo system. I'm not saying it was designed as a designated guitar amp, but whilst you suggested you couldn't plug a guitar in, I was showing that with the sort of basic kit most guitarists have lying around you certainly can do and it happens to sound great too.
The point is this is not a guitar amp, you can't plug a guitar in directly, your method could work on pretty much any stereo system it doesn't make it a guitar amp.
Or you could buy a small practice guitar amp and plug a Chromecast audio in if you don't mind a squarer unit. I've done this with my Marshall amp and it works great (and you can get it REALLY loud, if you so wish)
I've been using these for over a year cycling and gym, cannot fault them - excellent battery life, provide enough passive noise isolation for the gym (not ANC) and are super cheap so you don't care if you lose/break them I should post them in a deal actually! https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32819441500.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.594a293cdBBUv7&algo_pvid=5f2b90ad-5e9b-4c19-a243-635112784150&algo_expid=5f2b90ad-5e9b-4c19-a243-635112784150-0&btsid=0e4b9ad1-8f5c-41fe-a26c-e6b073e01d4b&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_7,searchweb201603_53
My decent earbuds have just packed in and I wear them all day but mostly for calls and then for the gym but thinking of cheap earbuds for during the day and good headphones like the Bose for the gym? Do you are anyone know if this is decent combo or is a good set of Earbuds beat for all round use??
These are pretty good (for the price) - sound and build quality are great, but they are not on the same level for noise-cancelling as the Bose (If Bose is 10, these would be 6-7)
How do something like these compare to say the Bose qc35? Obviously I know Bose will be better but is it massive difference
Yeah me too. I was too slow that day :( Chances are Amazon will reduce them again quicker than it would take an AliExpress order to arrive.
Looks like this
How would you go about adding a custom eq setting? An app on your phone or?
I really like this speaker, sounds great with custom EQ
Slightly mixed reviews when you start reading them, but probably worth a try with free returns on Prime
My point is Rambolicks thinks he will be getting them free as they are not as shown in the video, but CPC have never made such a claim.
thats because the were also sould in wilko lol
What video are you watching from CPC? Or do you mean the one at the top of this post? if so thats one that someone has posted saying they "think" its the same and clarly says Wilko in the video. (lol)
I think I might be getting this for free. Just watched their video, the sound played had loads of base, if that's not false advertising I don't know what is lol
In stores only
price back up to £249 now
Cheapest it’s ever been on Amazon, but has been cheaper elsewhere before (although expired now!) https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/new-bose-soundlink-revolve-plus-model-bluetooth-speaker-lux-grey-149-at-argos-3268888
Apparently it's the lowest price it's ever been: https://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/Bose-SoundLink-Revolve-Bluetooth-Speaker/product/B06XPC9SS6
Wow! (y) Is this in stores only, or any way to get online?
A shame out of stock, I need another speaker.
I’ve just had a quick scan of the first page of google and I can’t see the review I read, but if I come across it I will post a link (y)
Would you mind linking me to some reviews that pick up on that? I didn't find any that focussed too much on call quality when I searched. If it's too much bother don't worry.
I’ve had them since launch and they’re pretty rubbish for calls in everything but a quiet room, I would definitely look elsewhere if that’s important to you. The professional reviews pick up on how terrible they are for calls too so I knew what I was in for :( Mine are exclusively for work and the noise isolation and audio are worth the sacrifice for me.
Yep, they'll be fine in the office of course but that's an optimum environment so I'd expect any crappy buds to do well there. It's out and about that is the test! I just got off the phone to their support team and he said there is a degree of noise cancellation built in to the mic. But clearly that's not enough in my view! I might do some more tests with it and then return it if unsatisfactory.
When I take calls in my office they’re perfectly fine it’s just when you’re in a noisy environment, even wind noise becomes unbearable on the other end! I’ve not tried a pair but the new Sony noise cancelling earbuds get great reviews but they’re £220.
Title needs to be amended with price
"Free" when you made a purchase of £125.
Is it good?
A quick check shows same price at Very, AO.com and Argos. May struggle to get heat.
Yes sorry must have got the price mixed up. It’s the mega boom 2 I bought £116 Currys. Class speaker anyway.
Link to these deals? You're thinking of the 2 I reckon And yup
Is this not the normal price of the deals? This isn’t the mega boom. Also why is it Logitech? Do they own ultimate ears?
I know it’s a minor and 99% of people won’t care but can they please just ditch micro usb already. Portable speakers are the only reason I need to pack a micro usb on my travels (hate clutter lol).
I got my phone in 4 days.
Amazon. It was a one-off like many of their products.
Which warehouse is this available for £28?
I got mine from the Warehouse for £28. Not convinced it’s worth £50 - it is a good littlespeaker but at £50 it’s too close to the UE Boom and JBL Flip series IMO.
So what if it floats on water . I can walk on water .
Bluetooth only...no aux for 3.5m lead.
Awesome, thanks for the reply. Hope you like it :)
Mine has arrived and yes it’s slightly raised so the buttons won’t be touching the surface it’s sat on. Buttons might be annoying if you’re playing from an SD card but I’m only using it for my phone - once Bluetooth is connected you don’t need to touch the speaker as you use controls on your phone (or whatever device you’re using)
Roughly how long do you guys get from a charge? The one I got is only lasting around 3-4 hours. *edit* I've just checked and it says in the description 3.5 how charge. That's disappointing, I'll have to send it back.
I ordered it yesterday it came today. It’s brill sound is good. Bargain. Bought it for my car. Well worth the price and ideal xmas present
Got one delivered today, not a bad sound, buttons are underneath the speaker, so yep need to pick it up to turn power on, and change mode. Options are bluetooth, phone / mic, or what got it for, micro SD card. Have set it to play a 10 hour mp3 of rain sounds on the micro sd card next to baby's cot.. If you put a micro sd card in with mp3's it's reads from there first, buttons underneath let you skip to next or play previous. Linked it through bluetooth to a phone, sound is pretty decent, little bit of top volume distortion but its a fiver so not a sonos, was shaking / jumping a bit on a hard surface at top volume, probably different if on a cushioned surface. Aside from that looks pretty solidly built, looks more than the 5 quid it cost, controls underneath are a bit different, but if you connect via bluetooth you only need to power it on (without micro sd card in it) and it'll go into bluetooth mode automatically and pair. Micro sd card in, it'll play whatever is on there automatically and will need to cycle the Mode button underneath to choose bluetooth mode, 1 press i think
