Hi all! I'm in the market for a decent brushless Combi and Impact set. I've seen the 2 offerings below and wondered if anyone has had experience with these? What's your opinions?… Read more

Wow! Thanks for your advice

The Milwaukee set (being the Fuel edition) blows Makita out of the water. Much better and much stronger. I have Makita and my brother Milwaukee, mine is cheap Chinese junk by comparison. He also tested side to side against Snapon used by a tractor mechanic and it outperformed the Snapon. Go Milwaukee.

Milwaukee are offering free gifts when you purchase certain kits on 10.05.21 https://milwaukeeredemption.co.uk/redemptions/milwaukee/kits

This is not Makita or maybe you meant Milwaukee? If you didn't not sure why post a random comment.

Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

Milwaukee, best tools by far!!

SoperMan

They should launch an ad campaign together with Rockstar, based on Red Dead Redemption.

Makita make great tools. I especially like their older, pre-brushless models.

Hi, just wanted to know peoples opinions on whether DeWalt or Milwaukee is a better brand to buy into with investing in their batteries. I’ve seen the deals recently on the DeWalt … Read more

Shouldn't come to having to contact them again on FB. I'd stick with FFX

discobob

Contact Nathan (PTM bosses son) on the power tool mate group on Facebook- he should sort you out

I would go with dewalt. There are far more dewalt deals on here than Milwaukee deals. Recently bought in to dewalt system and its been great so far. Bought multi toll, cordless drill, impact driver, reciprocating saw and angle grinder. Looking at a circular saw next

jplewis76

I'd say dewalt but both are good

I use makita, most come with 3 year warranty, got a few drills inc sds and circular saw, just ordered a grinder recently. Next is jigsaw, I use all cordless now it’s so easy with the batteries being comparable!

Might be worth a phone call to ffx to see if they’ll do you a deal. Other company to try might be its.co.uk not the cheapest but they do kit building sets

deleted1279550

They have a very small range and they are also expensive even with the discount . Power tool mate or ffx is better but looking for a deal as want to spend about 900-1000

7ommy

Not in Scotland but can highly recommend FFX.co.uk Always good prices

Depends what you want they do a few cross over pieces like m12 ratchets and others that bosch Makita and dewalt don’t

ronniejb

Are they that much better than other professional brands? I've seen a lot of buzz around them

7ommy

Try ffx
