Not confirmed but since the PS4 controller will have a standard jack like these should work just fine.

Dhiren_HUKD

Doed anyone know if these will work with the PS4 controller?

doylie1984

Mine recently broke, not to bad but if your after headphone look else where there are better ones for the money.

noiren

These are for the PSVITA/(3/DS)/Mobile Phone not 360, they're basically standard 3.5" jack earphones with a mic which is I bought the to listen music on my phone.

tigershuffle

says compatible with 360 on Tesco weblink ?!.....think they are USB? thanks for info never used them so probably pays to cross ref.

Has anyone tried this with movies yet? I've tried various settings for surround and bass etc. It definitely sounds better but not very directional. The Dolby light is on. I wonder if its the headphones. I have tried various including AKG K450, some in ear ones. Any ideas or advice on which headphones work well for you and settings used etc?

Joey.Bloggsy

oh? didn't know that. Basically I tried it with laptop and usb port from vision box (it has power to it) , no lights or anything comes on.

ledzepploid

Is the problem that the dolby digital led will not light up? If you are connecting it to a pc, download dolbys channel sound test and open in windows media player.

Joey.Bloggsy

Got mine this morning in a tatty box and it doesn't work :(

hotfinder

It sounds very good to me. It might be the type or quality of your headphones, as these will no doubt impact on how well the effect works.

Whereas I completely agree that the AKGs sound more accurate and musical, there is NO mic for gaming on them...whereas these Plantronics headphones do! These are for gaming and thankfully happen to sound rather decent for music too and that's coming from someone who appreciates FLAC audio through a Marantz SR4300, £90 of solid Cu speaker cable bi wired into a pair of Monitor Audio Silvers on proper spiked Gale stands!

claymann

Yep I understand and while I could say I think the AKG's would outlast the Plantronics with the build quality looking superior to my eyes and fingers, I've not owned them long enough to really know and I've had my Plantronics a year or so now and they are still in mint condition.

StNick

You're probably right, the only thing that would make me wary about those AKG's is the plastic looks kind of cheap and, from experience, not long-lasting. The main reason I bought the Plantronics ones is the metal bars on either ear muff (since that's the area that suffers the most abuse). I bought them more for longevity rather than performance, if you follow me.

Alfresco

You can buy the non usb version for cheaper. It's called the GameCom 380

Franzkill

FFS what is up with the USB input? I have a ZXR sound card in my rig that I want it to take advantage off. :(

Can you link me where to buy Quickfire Pro with other cherry switches in any UK store? http://www.coolermaster.co.uk/product.php?product_id=6818 Even coolermaster's own site only lists the Cherry Red variant in the UK... Yes, you can buy an US import but that's another topic..

airman87

for anyone interested you actually can get all other variants of cherry MX's in the UK not just Red. dont know where the OP got that idea from.

Sonsey

Yes

S_F

So, just to make sure, the switches on this are Cherry MX Red, yes?

klal

Although I've never had a mechanical before I guess my review isn't great, but honestly I've had this keyboard 2 days now and I love it. It's responsive, doesn't feel like its gonna stick, I can type easily with it (I am right now). Bottom line, I give it heat.

Only bluetooth and usb wont work if its optical it will work on release

KeenSaver

There will indeed be a headset in the box, as has always been the case. Also worth noting that Turtle Beach have said on their site that PS3 headsets will be compatible with the PS4.

1day

There will be a mono wired headset included in the box.

kierancook71

There won't be a headset coming with the PS4 on release. It was revealed when they revealed the console. You have to buy a headset for it otherwise you will be unable to communicate with anyone. It really annoyed me when I saw it but £349.99 for the console isn't reall ysomething you can complain about. One question though. What are these headsets going to be like?? Will they be the same as the turtle beachs we use now?? Will we hear game play through them or will they only be for playstation party chat?? I would like to hear an answer from someone so I thank you in advance

kaiser051

Better sticking with the free headset that comes free with the ps4 not much different than this

No problem.. Your wired ones are ground to your case, which is probably why your not getting any noise.....Happy Gaming!

stvoritel

That was my problem. When the volume was on very low, I could hear that characteristic noise. I have no issues with Technics wired headphones, so I returned wireless ones. Thanks

ukez

No buzz on my two pairs, none at all.. unless i walk in to my kitchen and switch my microwave on LOL...

ukez

Try these two things: 1, Because the headset speakers cup your ears the level of sound from your room that reaches them is greatly reduced, so logitech have a Sidetone volume setting within their software which basically amplifies your room's sound in through to your headphones speakers and cupped ears. (I think they have that option so you can hear your miss nagging or not!) So make sure you don't do what allot of people do and have the SIDETONE volume ramped up, as it will inject the sound through to your headphones, even if the headphones mic is muted. 2, As with any wireless devices they're prone to interference and motherboards, wireless dongles, wifi cards and even crappy sound cards 'line inputs' can introduce noise through to your headphones usb dongle and signal. So open up your windows operating system sound setting, right click on any other line input or mic input that you may have and click disable on them. Also plug your headsets usb dongle directly in the logitech charger cable usb slot instead of plugging your dongle directly in to your motherboard. See if that helps...

These headsets are awful build wise, i'd avoid them. They always break in a certain place making them unusable, and Corsair seems to do nothing about it. You'll also have to deal with Corsairs long RMA process, where you have to send to the Netherlands, at your own cost! I'd just buy a pair of monitoring headphones and a decent desktop microphone like a Blue Yeti/Snowball. I use this £6 Mic of eBay which does the job well. For the poor build quality, I'm giving this a cold vote. Sorry!

deathatomic

UPDATE: They arrived today, same awesome delivery from amazon. The headset come's with very little, no driver cd or softwear, no extra cables. The headset externals feel really great, the usb cable is wraped in a durable woven material, the pads are very comfy and faux felt wraped, not sweaty material at all. And the rest feel's very well made. Performance: Although i only had 4 or so hours to review them before my computing time was over. The headsets really impressed me, especially compared to other similarly priced rivals ive used and reviewed. Although it wasent exactly as plug an play as i expected (had to faff about downloading softwear and an updated driver). You can really tell the difference between a sterio and also supprisingly a 5.1 headset, the 7.1 surround is comparable with other 7.1 headsets ive used such as the triton and the razers, but not in anyway better. If i was to define the sound ide say: full rounded, there isnt too much bass but just enough, voice's are crisp an clear and there is no distortion or crackles to be heard. Alas, if there were any issues reguarding sound ide be more or less sure that they could be sorted via the corsair softwear. Corsair vengence 1500: 9/10 @ £65, nothing ive touched under £90 have came close.

beckywilky

Any reputable (seller rating ofc) Chinese importer on ebay. You have to wait around 10 days but it is worth it at half the price. I took the risk a while back as it was worth a £25 shot. I was reviewing at the time so I've had several V2's to compare it to and they were identical. Arrived with bag, extension cable but no box. They were on par with the Navi and pastel purple ones I had. I even managed to get the fnatic 7H in a similar manner which was identical to the one directly from the PR company. I don't think ebay links are allowed on here? I'm not too sure of the rules but if you do your research and take the risk, if done with the right seller it will pay off. I've never paid over £30 for a V2 and don't plan to!

All, lets not feed the troll anymore

LongPockets

Again, it is not a good deal. It has been falsely specified (at least in the posting here). Virtual 7.1 Dolby isn't the same as 7.1 Dolby by a long way. I have bought USB "sound card" dongles that claimed to be 7.1 virtual surround sound for less than two quid. It's a very cheap capability, simulated. Real Dolby would be much more expensive, which is why leaving out the word "virtual" or "simulated" is highly misleading. Do these guys even have a licence from Dolby to describe their product with that trademark? And no, it isn't good enough to say people should expect it isn't real Dolby 7.1 at this price. It is claiming to be Dolby 7.1. I hadn't actually voted, but I guess it's my duty, especially if there are people who truly believe that false trades descriptions are OK.

In your eyes - YES, i`m am. And all people i know... Honestly, don`t really know a friend who EVER bought a song, or movies...same with games... I am serious... (i agree its sad, but its not their fault) Now i have more money and still i will never buy them! just because i`m i this country, doesnt mean i have to do all the same like most people do. And i do respect people who lives in here, and TRULY believe that British people have to rule the England and no one else. But you know what, rather i pay 50£ for a game which i can finish in 6 hours, i better give these money for charity (British charity - money stay in the country) and download this game/song/movie for free - quicker, cheaper, easier, safer. Yes, you can think that i`m theft or criminal - honestly, I DON'T CARE. I just born in f**ked up "system", so you know my answer... If you stupid enough to pay "TV licence" to real robbers - BBC and don't want face the truth, its your problem too.. I am sorry that this conversation went this way...BUT, You are probably right if you "like" this "system". Stereotype, what?! stereotype....?!!! Tell that word for all world government... They know word "money" and "slave". Thx god Britain is still slightly better. BTW Its unfair too that 90% people of this planet cannot afford buy things what you/we buying so easily, doing f**k all at work and getting sh** loads of money to spend on s**t. So i never blame people who "stealing" (downloading moves, games, songs.. etc..) just because they cannot afford, and they DO WORK MUCH MUCH harder than you/me. Yeach..that`s a life...f**k the life...

FactProvider

So, you are from some poor corrupt east-european country, and so therefore you think you have a right to go to a 'luckier' country and break the law? And you say the govt is stealing from you? No, that's called TAXES. Taxes pay for civilization. By not paying your TV license, stealing Wifi, media and god knows what else you are fulfilling the stereotype that people have of immigrants i.e. you're all thieving layabouts trying to scam the system. People like you are the reason groups like the EDL exist, so well done. (actually they'd exist anyway, you're just encouraging them). Oh, and saying 'HALF OF EUROPE' do it as well is not an excuse. You are a criminal. Were you also a criminal in your own country, I wonder?
