I have second Rival 310 within 2 years and I can say its rubbish, 1st one I claimed twice, 1st time for grips second time for grips and double click, got sent second one and after year grips fell off again and few weeks ago i spotted double click too. One word "CRAP" Im tempted to buy Logitech G502 hero but atm is overpriced for me.

I think with build quality issues, you’re always going to get them, and people are much more likely to leave bad reviews than good ones. If you can wait for the 600 to go on sale at Currys, you can usually get it for around £50 and you’d get 6 months Spotify too atm, maybe play in gloves to make sure your rubber doesn’t degrade (lol) I’ve never liked others, I had a R.A.T for a while because they’re supposed to be up there, but hated the Logitech ones. I think because I started with SS and just really liked it, I’ve never gone back (lol)

Good to know. Maybe I will be the same then. (y) Glad you agree about SteelSeries over these overhyped others.

I do feel I need the rubber though. These mice that are too glossy just slide out my hands. I guess I don't get sweaty enough. My hands are always dry.

Been using this one (a sensei 310 I think (lol) ) for about 3 years with no issues, maybe people have sweatier hands? Before that I had a “sensei raw” which I only upgraded because I had dropped it and lost one of the rubber feet, id had it for years, since WotLK in fact (lol)

Its for Posh Gamers. Don't be offended.

I have to admit, I bought the wired version (and still use it in work) for about £30 if i remember correctly, but upgraded to the Lightspeed and i honestly believe it's worth every penny, I could never go back to wired for gaming. Having said that, it's a lot of money (for a mouse), so I could fully understand people thinking it's a waste.

It was nice when this was mispriced as £50~ on John Lewis for what seemed like a year

Bought the wired version for around £45, wouldn't pay much more for the wireless version, deffo not over a £100

Just for everyone’s reference as well as my own, how many games do each of those percentages equate to?

You do know the Breakout box is supposed to be connected all the time. Set up is just a case of plugging 2 cables in. Playstation has more AAA full games than any other platform, as one VR youtuber put it PS VR store is 90% quality, 10% crap. Steam is 10% quality, 90% crap.

This will be amazing with the power of PS5.

^^Are you on the standard PS4?

I’m still really disappointed with the low res quality of Skyrim, but WipeOut is amazing... sounds snobby but I just wish it could do the same graphical experience as on screen.

Anyone who calls this cheating it's not Sony even launched a official accessory that adds buttons to the back of the controller too

Can't even remember now! I asked some Warzone players for what I needed. I use R1/L1 as triggers, so wasn't too worried about digital on them. Really I just wanted the back button to be able to jump while fighting, I use tactical flipped and circle as jump. Paying £140 for the ability to jump does seem ridiculous, but hopefully I will be able to sell it for not much less when I get bored of COD Warzone.

Ah did you just got for the basic Scuf no digital triggers or EMR so you can map the buttons yourself. The Impact I priced up was about £245 then £218 with a discount code. Only thing with Scuf is they seem to suffer drifting on the sticks really quick, some even after a month and people say their customer service is shocking, you pay £35 to send it to be repaired and they just don't even fix anything

I didn't see this kit before buying. But it would be 50+30 with this kit to end up with a bit of a bodge potentially. I was gutted when I realised how long the scuf would take to arrive though. If the PS back button comes into stock maybe I can cancel it or will sell it.

I've been wanting to buy a Scuf Impact for ages but just kept thinking am I nuts XD Which one you gone for and what was the total cost if you don't mind me asking? Would you not have been better off buying a v2 controller then using this mod. I'm still getting the hang of using back buttons, it's so weird

Redeem an offer code − FNDD -£5.00 Applied

ah, I returned mine after a week. Worst mouse I have ever used in all my years. Physically ached, couldn't grip it, too light for my liking. I'm now thinking toward a Corsair Glaive at this point. I think i need some ergonomics. The only mouse I liked before was the Steelseries rival 3 but they break too easy. I'm stuck using a Microsoft standard at the moment. I've read even more negatives about the Basilisk, terrible scroll button and software.

I got the G203 recently for £16.99, it's slightly smaller than what I'm used too, but for that price I couldn't resist (and I got it as a work mouse lol)

I have this keyboard and it's excellent.

Depends what you want, there is no one size fits all best gaming keyboard. Though the steel series apex pro and the razer huntsman are both highly regarded as is the ducky one 2 mini and they are very different.

Noveed I believe it's gone even cheaper one Warehouse deals too however for some bizarre reasons the Huntsman Elite is hit and miss, there are other deals posted around the £137 mark that have gone sub zero ... (shock)

Could that be the razer blackwidow elite? I'm not sure I've ever seen the huntsman that low.

I have the cloth version of this and despite what they say it seems impossible to clean out accumulated grease/detritus from where your wrist and hand sit day after day on the cloth mats. This is kind of tempting to replace it with! Unless someone knows a safe way to clean the cloth mats without ruining them?

For components of that cost I'd probably spend around £100 then, a Corsair RM or TX (cheaper), EVGA GQ/G3 or that ADX Gold-rated unit posted the other day isn't bad.

Thanks. Getting around to looking for a psu then getting to build when I have hsf case fans and the software. Not added it up but likely over 1000£.

Exactly this. PSU should expect to cost around 10-15% of total build budget as well of being decent quality itself. Too many people say 'my £20 PSU has been fine' and take that as evidence, but it doesn't prove anything and then dismiss expensive PSUs as a waste of money. This CV550 will probably be fine for many office PCs, APU builds and low-end GPU setups - not something I'd use personally though.

If you're building a cheap and cheerful system on a limited budget then this should be fine. If however you're spending a grand + on a system then you invest in a better psu that will see you through your next few upgrades as well. Many years ago i bought a corsair hx750i and it's seem me through so many upgrades and still going strong today so paying the extra has really been worthwhile. Think i picked it up for £100 in the day.

They don't specify it and it operates within spec. Basically this is a cheap, entry-level PSU that's fine for many builds and if you're not bothered about longevity or quality. It uses cheaper, low-quality components and a simplified design so while it probably won't break anything short term it may apply more stress to other components. Personally I would pay more and get something better quality and more efficient that'll last longer but many don't want to. Currys sell a ADX Gold-rated modular 850W unit for £89.99 that should be in stock and is highly-rated and there was also the Corsair TX 550W for £59.99 recently. Anyway, it's slightly better than the Corsair VS which gets slated much of the time, and I've used them before (for customers who insisted on a cheap, branded unit - I can't demand they pay for something they don't want!) and none have blown up yet.
