Much prefer the Currys code deal posted like this rather than dozens of individual game deals we usually see for what is essentially the same offer.
Yesterday Res village was £39.99 today it's £44.99 so I can see what's occuring.
I've been trying the FNDDGME code and this one on Mario Kart 8 bundle everytime they come up. I get to check out and it throws out the message "We can't process this order". Why accept the code if it won't process the order?! So infuriating.
It only works on products that has the promo code on page, so if no promo then code then very unlikely won't apply :)
Bought these from stockmustgo and returned..horrible horrible headset. Just constant interference..used the xbox one wireless adapter for PC too. Steelseries recommended disabling 2.4ghz, 5ghz etc on my router lol! (Still made no difference) with Bluetooth on two different tvs the headset would completely cut out. Sound quality? Very slighty better than my hyperx cloud alpha My corsair HS70 don't cut out at all, I've never had a single issue with the wireless. Wanted to upgrade as the sound quality isn't to great on those. Also..I paid £88. Still not worth it
I've had both this headset and the Astro A50. I returned the Arctis 9X due to a fault (ear cup cracked). Here's my personal pros and cons: Arctis pros: 1. I found it easy to customise the EQ and get the sound I wanted to play warzone (via pc software) 2. Very comfortable due to the elastic headband 3. Mic quality was good 4. Can connect phone via Bluetooth to play music whilst hearing xbox sound Cons: 1. Build quality not great (plastic). As mentioned, ear cup developed a crack, which after a few weeks of use got bigger to the point it was unwearable 2. Cannot buy spare parts to fix it yourself 3. I found my set cut out intermittently (pre crack) 4. Customer service non-existent, however Curry's PC World were fab in refunding no questions asked Compared with the Astro's... I find the Astro's a little less comfortable, and I did have some people comment on the mic quality to start with. It doesn't have the ability to connect a phone to it. However build quality seems much better with a metal headband, also comes with charging stand and has dolby atmos capability. Hope this helps someone (y)
Do these sound any better than the 7x ? I tried those recently and thought they sounded terrible. I am currently using Astro A50 gen 3
I guess I got lucky, by the sounds of it. I did get worried when I clicked on 'start live chat' and Facebook messenger popped up, but I did find them professional.
Their customer service is a joke. I had mine volume wheel loose and they "forced" me to get brand new headphones which I had to pay for and then request a refund after they see I destroy my old headphones.

Ebuyer don't seem to be restocking either, but agree, this is one of the best PSUs on the market, let alone the outrageously low price. https://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-evga-gd-80-plusgold-single-rail-416a-120mm-fan-over-voltage-protection-atx-psu https://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-seasonic-core-gold-gc-500-80plus-gold-single-rail-41a-120mm-fan-atx-psu https://www.scan.co.uk/products/650w-seasonic-core-gold-gc-650-80plus-gold-single-rail-54a-120mm-fan-atx-psu Pretty similar price bracket.
I'd probably go for the corsair txm series. Not fully modular but very well reviewed (tier A on rankings) and a 7 year warranty. If you don't need more wattage this is a good price for the 550w (even if you don't get £5 off) : https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/corsair-tx550m-80-plus-gold-semi-modular-atx-psu-550w-3704070 I think the cheapest 650w is from amazon, £67: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06WVWXPVZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_S47RQ86JHDJV6KV745ZE
Thanks for the suggestions. Alas, all are currently priced a fair bit higher that £60 at the moment
Adata XPG Core Reactor (if you can find it), Seasonic Core GC/GM or EVGA GD.
https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/adata-xpg-650w-core-reactor-10yr-warranty-3723147#comment-44730875 Unfortunately out of stock atm but is really good.
Yes made no sense why they cancelled. I ordered and mine came from order on Wednesday. Brother ordered Wednesday but had theirs cancelled. Ordered again on staurday and had delivered yesterday. Odd why they allowed it to come back up at 39.99 after already cancelling orders, but glad a lot of people managed to get theirs in end. Unfortunate for some
Unfortunately it was a mistake from Amazon £39.99. Had the order canceled
I think Neon Yellow were for ARMS. Purple & Orange makes me think of Wario but he's more yellow than orange. Both Wario and Waluigi wear purple. The dark Blue & Neon Yellow pair has always seemed a strange combination to me. Apparently the Super Mario Odyssey Red pair and the more recent Mario Red pair are a slightly different shade of red! (cheeky) *BTW; Neon Red & Neon Blue pair is the opposites of the Neon console ones
I had my order of 2 sets Purple/Orange (Halloween!) joy cons delivered yesterday. Yay!
I managed to get a set delivered on Saturday when they dropped again, came Sunday just after one 😁

I cant speak for others but i typically buy a second controller when on offer to save money for the following reasons; * for friends to use on local multiplayer games (incl PS4 titles) * as a back-up controller for when you need to send one off for stick drift repair or the like
crazy how many ps5 controller deals i see and no ps5's
My controller won't even charge anymore. Cable needs to be connected at all times. As soon as its disconnected it lasts a few minutes then turns off.
Missed out on this deal but I've been looking through the site because monitors and other things are all on offer with this code. Well worth checking out since the deal code doesn't run out until Friday.
Glad you managed to get it (y)
Thanks, I got the last one. They accepted delivery to Northern Ireland which I'm very surprised about. Most places don't these days...
Doesn't seem a bad deal to me, as these items are around £30-40 each individually Would be great for a starter set
Or if you have a decent WiFi setup and a reasonably specced PC/Laptop, use Airlink and buy a lot of the titles on Steam as it's so much cheaper.
Useful thread here for first time owners https://www.hotukdeals.com/discussions/my-top-picks-for-oculus-quest-some-rift-owners-from-the-current-sale-3632769 Depends what you games you like, I have bought: Beat Saber - music rhythm game (tried it on a friend's and this is why I bought one) Crisis VRigade (Time Crisis in VR, very hard so only buy if fan of hard time crisis) Oh Shape - interesting different style music rhythm game, but prefer beat saber In death unchained - good archery rogue game, but reasonably hard Fruity shooting - OK but nothing amazing Death Horizon reloaded - enjoyable zombie game Ninja Legends - fighting game seems OK so far FitXR - basically pushing gym classes style subscription and though OK was not my cup of tea so returned (look up rules about returning oculus games as very useful) I have also bought MOSS, Audica, Pixel ripped 1995 and a few others but not got round to trying them yet. Pistol Whipped, Eleven table tennis and the walking dead on my list to buy. See link for some good ideas too https://www.roadtovr.com/top-oculus-quest-games-100/
Everyone's list will be different but for me the top games are; Beat Saber The Climb Pistol Whip Walkabout Mini Golf Angry Birds Isle of Pigs Racket NX Synth Riders In Death Unchained Knockout League Superhot VR
I’m looking at getting a quest this weekend can you tell fill me in on some games worth getting please?
worth reading the reviews first....thye do put some naff games on sale..lol
Bought this for same price at christmas. So far been great, no problems with coil whine or anything. Completely silent as the fan hardly ever turns on, don't think my system draws enough to actually turn it on. Only got it as wanted to quiten down my PC as my old PSU had a really noisy fan, and for that has worked really well.
The Corsair RM750x (2018) = Tier A PSU. The new 2021 version is available: Corsair RM750x 80 PLUS Gold (2021) Review of the latest version: https://www.tomshardware.com/uk/reviews/corsair-rm750x-2021-power-supply-review
I really dont need this. I dont need this. I dont need this. I dont need this
HEAT I also got this case last time it was on here, good value with the 3 fans included, as above limited room behind the motherboard tray, so needs good cable management skills. I ended up buying a commander pro for the fan controllers as I didn't have enough headers on my mother board for the 3 additional fans. and the commander node core only looks after the RGB element not the power. good deal but if your adding more fans check your fan headers and / or order Y splitters etc.
Can still get from this supplier at £79.99
I've done 3 builds on these case. Not enough room behind the mobo for cabling. Otherwise they're nice. Word of warning is that you'll need to unscrew the front panel (4 bolts) everytime you need to clean the front fan filter.. unless you want to poke an old toothbrush from the side to brush the dust off.
We got maybe four light uses out of ours before it developed really bad left stick issues. It would drift to the right and other days it would be totally unusable, it would bounce all over menus by itself. I seriously wouldn't even waste the tenner like I did
I had a couple of these, leads are a great length and were great initially but both of mine went faulty within months with anologue stick issues, took them back to argos and paid extra for a pro controller
Yip you can still get motion sickness on any vr headset (zombie)
Voted hot. I've had psvr for a couple of years and it's great. After the initial buzz of having new tech to experience, finding I really have to be in the right frame of mind to want to want to wear the headset to play psvr titles. I find the lenses fog up quite often and it's not the most comfy thing to wear, but loads of immersive fun to be had with VR. Beat Saber is fantastic, as is Headmaster. The graphics aren't amazing but the experience is great. It's antisocial but can also use it to watch 3D Blu-Rays and feel like you have the cinema to yourself (ideal).
PSVR 2 is some time off and the PS5 might not even be widely available until well into 2022, so this is a nice stop gap, i still use this hmd today, BL2 VR is just awesome, Wipeout, pinball fx vr, Skyrim vr, these 4 alone are worth getting this hmd for, and all can be played with the pad also if you don't want to splash out on the ps move controllers which are meh at best.
Yes you can but I seem to get used to most games after a while
Yes it's the wireless that got me into Quest too, as for recommending games that's really a personal thing I'm not one for long deep thinking games I'm more for fast action but then again I love the 2 golf games I have (Top golf & Walk about mini golf) apart from them I'm often on my zombie games like Drop dead duel strike or Arizona sunshine, a good thing to remember when buying quest games is if you don't like the game you can get a refund and it's so easy to do, I bought Gun Club thinking it would be a good shooter game but it was to much messing about upgrading millions of little bits of your gun so I just got it refunded
Always annoys me on Ebay when I see the REFURBISHED description on obviously 2nd hand items (pretty much EVERY used item has it) a private seller is trying to sell. Wiping something down with a cloth does NOT constitute being refurbished. Several times I have asked sellers in what way it is 'Refurbished' often to no response. Refurbished means made like new and nothing else. That along with the 'Opened never used' nonsense. Incidentally can anybody recommend a real cheap wireless controller for PC games? There's some like a tenner on Ebay.
If its been connected to an xbox or pc even once then the warranty has already been activated from that date, just so everyone is aware. They know because it pings their system.
Really depends on the game (and maybe your BT hardware). In my experience 50% of games work flawlessly, the rest are not properly recognised and need to use cable. Wish I had bought with an adapter :(
I bought one from Currys this morning funnily enough, £115 with 10% cashback from complete savings
Seems to have gone back up a tenner, was just about to call Currys to try to get a price match.
Got my price match too (y) don't think there will be a better value quality PSU at the moment and it's time to retire my hx850, might reuse it to make a bench power supply.
If you spec this conservatively so you don't use much more than half of it's power there is little chance the fan will come on, & if it does it will only be for short periods. I have a 850i & whilst my load requirements are quite small I don't think I've heard the fan yet, but the psu is hidden in it's own compartment, blowing air directly out.
