Doesn't make it a good mouse mat (highfive)

Definitely not here to troll. Well you have it so know more about that than me, I have a g305 and g502. Pity that the 203/102 is bad on hard surfaces as you say, I would have picked one up at some point for an addition considering it's value for money. Hopefully the g502 wireless comes down in price at some point because I can't stand the rigid wire on it.

Expensive mouse mat!

Bad mouse mat (y)

But it's not. Not sure if you're trolling now. I have the mouse right here with a fellowes mouse mat which it will not work on!

Don't buy! These keyboards go faulty on some keys, when you press C for example it detects it as a few presses and type CCC or dont detect at all sometimes. Also after a few months of usage the paint on the keys starts to peel off so avoid and invest in something better. Mouse is decent tho.

Title is misleading, this is NOT RGB it has "Rainbow lighting". I'm calling shenanigans (skeptical).

Good deal, but I can imagine both the keyboard and mouse are fairly mediocre qualitywise, judging from the one proper written review on eBuyer. Scan sells the Corsair Harpoon RGB mouse for £9.99 refurbished and the Corsair K55 RGB keyboard refurbished for £34.99 which whilst double the price of this bundle is likely to be far better quality/value for money for daily use and gaming.

It will work for anything that you can use a keyboard and mouse for, pal

I rebuilt that board so often as a kid I can still go through each stage in my mind - those were much simpler times, haha.

If you played it when you were young you'll "enjoy" the shock of how cheap and nasty it now is.

Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Yellow Switch £99.97 at LaptopsDirect
Made hot 14th JunMade hot 14th Jun
Price drop for this popular keyboard.

They just asked me for the code which shows green switch and is different to the code in the invoice....

Interesting to see if anyone actually got the yellow switches. When I requested a refund they asked for photos of the keyboard (confused) However they were fine when I said no and sent me a return label.

Exactly the same here. Sent me green switches. First and last time using laptops direct 😡

Mine arrived today and it was the green switches, they've been discontinued so refund for me :S

Have had numerous product's over the years and never had a single problem. Well made and have never let me down.

Oh, that's quite expensive compared to this deal then. I think I would rather have the old one and the Powerplay mat. The Hero sensor is a lot better on battery life if you don't want to use the Powerplay mat though.

Did we get a UK price on that? I saw the 150 USD RRP on an article this morning. Hopefully some nice offers on that in the UK. I don't need another mouse, but I do want one... Actually just saw £129.99 for UK

Which version of the Gold though? I’m sure there was a “new” release of the Gold last year if I’m not mistaken? I have the newer version, and I’ve had no issues for just over a year. Good price for the platinum if you don’t have the gold IMO

I own both the Arctis 7's (bought for use with a laptop) and the platinums. IMO the Platinums sound better when used (exclusively) with the PS4. The Battery life is fantastic with the 7s though( can confirm used them for approximately 23 hours on one charge) and they have a physical mic which you can position - not to say the inbuilt mic on the Platinums are bad but best to point it out. The ear pads are also more comfortable on the 7's (kinda had to break in the Platinums however may not be an issue for you). If you only want to use them for said console then I would recommend the Platinums. Hope all the above comments have helped you with your decision :) . Oh yeah would say to wait a month if you can with prime day coming up - may save a bit more on the price (can't guarantee though.)

Mine did the same

Normal Surround has indeed been around for years, these work well as virtual 7.1 due to altering the angle of the drivers to the ears and the sound processing involved, quite impressed with these at the price point, well recomended..

In my experience the adhesive they use for the grips on steelseries mice doesn't last long, so worth looking into reviews before you buy.

Had one of these for a while, bought to replace a failing Steelseries Sensei - feels pretty nice in the hand though it's a little heavier than the Sensei. Don't really see the point in the screen as it's not in an easy to see spot but the vibration alert thing is quite useful.

argh, sorry you're right - I've looked at too many boards recently! I think the Mortar @ £88.49 looks like a good buy

Support for the 3XXX Ryzen CPUs should be fine on all B450 boards, although overclocking mileage may vary depending on their VRM setup. There are many boards with the B450M moniker, the one you linked in your original post is the MSI B450M GAMING PLUS and that is one I used in comparison. It 100% has 2 RAM slots, 32GB limit along with everything else I mentioned. It sounds like you could be confusing it with the B450M Mortar which is a slightly more expensive feature rich board than the Gaming Plus. Gaming Plus: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-b450m-gaming-plus-amd-b450-s-am4-ddr4-sata3-m2-realtek-gbe-usb-31-gen1-aplusc-microatx Mortar: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-b450m-mortar-amd-b450-s-am4-ddr4-sata3-dual-m2-2-way-crossfire-realtek-gbe-usb-31-gen2-aplusc-mi

Actually they both appear to support 64gb of RAM, the same Realtek ALC892 7.1 HD Audio chip and both have 4 RAM slots. Extra USB ports, the lack of USB-c on the X470 and PCi ports are the biggest differences I can see

Thanks very much for the detailed response. I have a small case (thermaltech G3) although it can handle a full size ATX I'm tempted to go smaller for some better airflow. Unlikely I'll need 64gb anytime soon, as long as they can handle the new ryzens coming out (thinking 3700x)

This one has 2 more Ram Slots, supports up to 64GB vs 32GB on the B450. It also has 2 more rear mounted USB ports (although the X470 strangely lacks USB-C where as the B450M has one). Slightly better sound chip and more audio outputs on this one and due to form factor the ATX obviously has more PCI-E slots and an extra M.2 slot. It is a hard choice. If you don't have an ATX case I'd be tempted to go for the B450M and get a more compact mATX case to save room. Alternatively if you have a ATX case already you could potentially sell the mouse for around £20 and have a slightly better board for about £10 more.

Great deal.. now i just need a great deal on an Xbox one x and that would be ideal

Yes they are, they really didn't think this bundle through did they?

I want to play all the generations of xbox games i've collected over the years, 360, & now XB One, not have this crud, slow loading every time on a "purely digital" perspective. the updates from physical discs alone are quite gruesome enough, that won't stop with the re-introduction of disc-less, merely serve to increase the dissatisfaction.

Awesome!! It's only going to get lower as timw goes on, and a new console will cement that i remember ps2s were hundreds and when ps3 came they dropped to below 100 quid picked one up new with 3 games for £99 old tech turns to garbage so fast but I will be happy with a garbage xbox x if its cheap enough haha depending on new consoles, if they are insanely better i mught have to spring for that instead haha

This is the best wireless mouse I've used and a superb gaming mouse. Looks great, extra buttons aren't intrusive + easy to reach, sensor is great & fits (me) perfectly.

Woo. Nice discount. Thanks

Prefer these over the mx masters and g502

I've got this mouse and have had it for a couple of years. It's pretty decent. The extra buttons are handy, although I don't use them so much these days. I find it quite comfortable to use but if (for example) you were a head of state with baby hands you might find it quite difficult to use.

It's good because of all the extra buttons; six on the left and two on m1. However it is heavy and the sensor isn't great so it's not ideal for fps games etc.
