sorted byIf life gets so bad that i'm forced to put a Polaroid branded TV in my living room, please, somebody shoot me.

Well it's a Polaroid so it'll take great pictures ...it just won't show a great picture
I work there too and can say that nobody at department manager lvl has any idea about prices ,and were told that they haven't been sent out by asda house yet.....
As for the lg , looking around the wharhouse there are no 42" but a pallet of 50" ones with all the other stuff .
But this is gonna be a bun fight to the death ,and all the best items will of been put to one side by staff probably (we arnt allowed to but management are pretty incompetent so should be fine)
So expect to be barged out the way by drunk / drug addicts ,have your feet ran over by teenage chavs with pushchairs
That's what you call a First World problem!
Amazing how people act like animals when something like this happens - as soon as the manager said unwrap everyone tore through the black plastic and it was mayhem. One bloke was literally climbing over the pallets of stuff to get to the TVs. Could of had my pick of anything I wanted but didn't want anything on that list, was more interest what other stuff might of been on it. Shame there wasn't anything really other than Blu ray player, Hi-Fi system, Santa Gnomes, Soundbars and a few other things.
Amazing how dumb some people are as well. Saw one woman pick up a 42' LG TV and slide it across the floor to the till then a few minutes later saw her outside of ASDA around the town still pushing it along the floor - if you were coming for a TV you would at least drive there or get a taxi home not push the bloody thing home. Saw another woman grab a TV pull it out of the mass crowd and then was shouting at the person she was with to come get it off her so she could get another - nice.
As I say overall, OK deals, nothing special. Was hoping for other smaller stuff to be on sale as don't need any of the electrical stuff that was on offer. Might of got the Microwave but they had none in my store.
Well done to all that got what they wanted. Lets hope you did it with some decorum.
I hope you enjoy your Polaroid TV
Just because its not a bargain for you doesn't mean no one else will find it useful you should be grateful that you can afford top brand product the people that sell them to you should be happy and grateful you are willing to buy top brand goods....some people are not and some people don't think they are worth the extra...
Let's hope not otherwise its a bit pants for the majority of bargain hunters!
Damn, when you see the US prices, we get so screwed here!!!
any idea which Samsung phone as well please
If it's a Polaroid, it won't even take great pictures !
Samsung s3 mini is the phone
it depends where you live to be honest? If you live in a area full of people who loves sales then you should probably stay home. However, most people have work and other stuff so there may be a chance. But if i were you, i would go. You never know, you might get what u want.
Pretty sure it's sim free as there was no network info on the boxes which there usually is if it's tied. Can't swear to it though,
But you're happy to walk about Asda with your new born baby for hours with items in a shopping trolley?
Here's how it goes mashable.com/201…eo/

Everything was covered with black bin bags and I noticed 1 on top of a pallet so I asked the lady doing the flowers if it was Ok to take it and she said yes I suppose so.
Scanned at £29, thank you very much.
Took it to car and went back to try and get phone and maybe tv but was told by guy (maybe manager), that I couldn't have anything until 8am otherwise they'd have his nuts!
There were items on the end of Isles as well as front of store.

This does not surprise me in the slightest
I've seen a couple of times in the likes of Morrisons on the day the butcher section puts meat out close to end of date there is a big 10-20 person crowd round it all pushing in to snatch what they can.. This happens quite often around bank holidays. I find it bizarre..
He needs to improve his chat-up lines
