The second game has just been announced and its going to be Star Wars Battlefront II

    With COD WWII going out yesterday (for June), seems an odd choice to give away 2 FPS in the same month. Guess this is to appease those who were unhappy with the farm/construction games from May, and reinforces the "online" necessities of PS Plus.

    You can only play online with ps plus. You can only play ps plus games while your sub is live online or offline so that really is a non starter conspiracy theory you've got there.

    On the plus side this does have a single player campaign iirc.

    COD and Star Wars is a pretty decent offering mate, all the more if you dont have EA access, which not everyone would have.

    The games are part of the package. Part of the amount you pay for.
    A bit like in a kids meal you get a toy. You’ve paid for it in the total. It’s not free.
    Even PlayStation don’t call them free games!!!

    Yeah mate, COD WW2's was pretty good but BF2's was meh and very short.


    I’ll put it in my library but not bother then. I’m not an online gamer. Will give the CoD one a try though

    Great game but yet again they give away something that many people have through EA Access and that, to me, is absolutely lame.

    Also giving away two FPS games in the same month is a lazy oversight. (edited)

    if your paying for a subscription for this stuff it's not free your paying for it. It's marketing technique which everyone doesn't seem to get. I'd rather have it free online how it used to be or even pay to play online like the codes they did before as it would be cheaper for me than paying this.

    Yea, i mean Cod WW2 is really good, but it's a cheap game so not good …Yea, i mean Cod WW2 is really good, but it's a cheap game so not good value for plus. I've not played BF2 yet but i did recently buy a years EA Access.


    PS Plus is £2.50 a month,not sure where you get these games are not good value? I nearly paid £6 recently for COD so getting it on ps plus this month is cracking value to me. Of course I’d love resident evil 2 or FF7 remake but getting an older game doesn’t make it poor value for £2.50 a month.

    Looking forward to Wednesday to see what PS Now brings, I look more forward to that than plus these days! Hopefully this gets enjoyed by those who wish to play these games though

    Aye i can see your point. Its all personal preference though. Personally i'm over the moon with BattleFront 2 cause i'll do the multiplayer with some mates, and i don't have to pay EA a penny Hopefully next month will be games you more enjoy

    Division 2, Ezio collection, AC origins, Resident evil 2, La noire, death stranding, arkham collection, monster hunter world, Nier, FF15, persona 5.
    The quality of ps now since March has been unreal, Tomb raider (shadow of), control, Spider-Man, evil within 2, rainbow 6. This is a good offering for sure, just not my cup of tea. I just wished it was Spider-Man so those that haven’t can experience it (edited)

    EA Battlefront 2 is a great game for this month as EA DICE have been forced to improve and upgrade the game, unfortunately no further updates but they’ve done plenty to recover the reputation of the IP. Was hoping for another game alongside CoD WWII in a similar situation to a few years ago when we had Black Ops 3 free alongside those PS+ games.

    For those complaining, would you prefer Cities Skylines and Farming Sim over this?
