1x 70cl Woodford Reserve and 1x 70cl Gentleman Jack - £45.10 del at Tesco (£40.10 after Quidco)

Bit of an unusual deal is this, but a very good deal for those who like a better quality, easy drinking Bourbon (or two.)

Gentlman Jack (a step up from normal Jack Daniels, but not quite single barrel) and Woodford Reserve are two of the nicest, easiest to drink Bourbon Whiskey's I know and I was recently surprised and delighted to find them on sale both at Tesco and ASDA, with ASDA being slightly cheaper at £24 and £24.80 per bottle respectively (still good rates.) The Tesco in store rate is as it is online, which is £24.80 for the Woodford and £25.80 for the Jack.

Not to be dissuaded, I checked Quidco and found a 'new customers' deal which nets a £10 discount off £50 and £5 cashback once tracked.

I then followed the link through to Tesco Groceries and added the two bourbons to my basket (total being £45.10) and chose a delivery option which was £4.50 (although £4.00 options are available.)

Once I got to checkout, I added the code which Quidco gave me and hey presto, the total cost is £45.10 including next day delivery. Quidco has tracked at £5 too, so the real cost to me will be £40.10.

This is a FANTASTIC deal for anyone who likes either of these Bourbons as it's a huge discount on an already discounted product. Remember you only need to hit £50, so if you prefer the Jack just buy two, or if you prefer the Woodford just get two and something cheap to make up the numbers.

Hope this helps someone out before Christmas. There are other alcohols on sale too, so you could always do a Whiskey/Mixed Wine case for similar money.

I am basically surprised because I thought with a Grocery deal alcohol (especially so blatant like this) would be excluded.
