Expensive for a couple of dishcloths, cold.

Just gone to the JJB site and searched for Sunderland to see if they had a similar deal for you.

It seems this sports chain are unaware of such a club. You could always check the JJB branch in Sunderland though, they may carry stock and have a similar deal on (no quidco though).

I also found it strange, but have I missed something since the Boro won the league cup (and Newcastle the football league)?

If only there were as many Mackems slagging Newcastle off in the grounds, than in these forums, they might actually fill a few seats in the stadium of s**te!

It really doesnt matter who the most successful club is, the fact is newcastle united has a bigger fanbase, bigger stadium, fans who turn up week in week out and whats the record between the two clubs?? :-),

you have to be honest with yourself and the league never lies

League titles NUFC 4- SAFC 6
FA Cup NUFC 6- SAFC 2

Newcastle, never outside the top two divisions, whereas the Mackems have been (and definately belong) lower.

However, youtube.com/wat…iZg says it all really.

Rangers fan here so I don't have an allegiance to either Sunderland or Newcastle. I am highly enjoying the back and forth between the Mackem and the Geordie though - quality stuff.

I think the Mackem is marginally losing atm though. Boro is in the North East, this is a geographical fact.

By the way - hot from me. Two football shirts for £40? Regardless of whether you like the team or not, it's a decent deal.

Have you ever seen a mackem in Milan? Oi mackem 10 points clear of your sorry bunch of Man Utd misfits & over the hill players looking for a final pay day! Is it cold in our shadow?

The season won't continue as it has started. A team can only ride its luck for so long before being found wanton. You have already been played off the park for vast periods of games against very poor Wolves, Wigan and Sunderland teams and have somehow scraped victories against all three. Anyone who thinks that Newcastle's current position in the league is anything other than luck and a fluke is nothing short of delusional. Remember: Blackpool were in a very similar position after about 10 games last season.

He he... the irony of a S*nderland supporter criticising our support, and season ticket offer.

At least our chairman hasn't had to go on tour around local pubs/clubs to beg his own supporters to go the home matches instead of watching them on foreign satellite TV in the pub.

And NUFC haven't needed to resort to giving FREE tickets away to local schools and colleges, in an effort to fill a half empty stadium.

    Classy Club, S*nderland.

Loving the banter. I see the Mag's marginally beating the Mackem.
(Boro's not in the North East? Wahahahahaha. Yeah, classed as North Yorkshire these days, but look on a map, man - you can't deny we're NE. Clearly you're backtracking after forgetting our admittedly brief period of success! )

Tis a good deal if you want two N'cle shirts, so I've voted it hot - though my soul's thoroughly disappointed with me now.
  22. Tyranicus66's avatar
P.S. The smogheads definetly are in the NE. Which map are you looking at!? They hate sunderland almost as much as we do.

The writer of that article is obviously not a North Eastern football fan, … The writer of that article is obviously not a North Eastern football fan, or maybe a completely clueless one? Neither ourselves or the scum see you's as our rivals, nor do we consider our games derbies. All of us here in the North East know that you lot would really like that to be untrue, but in all seriousness, it's not.

My husband is a massive geordie and magpie fan, trust me he also see's them as derbies. Infact so much so that it comes into the bedroom...u get me? Us smoggies don't mind the mags as much as the dirty stinking mackems.
