    Cold.

Doesnt say "mega", or "hyper" anywhere in the title, or cost at least 5 squillion quid, as those kinds of cables as we all know are clearly superior, and magically improve colour and contrast repoduction.

Not sure that really matters anymore! It either works or it doesn't. The only difference is the standard of the cable and whether it'll do audio over HDMI, 3D, Ethernet over HDMI etc!

    Edit....just saw trollface!

Need to buy a new HDMI cable and just wondering if it is a big difference between one of these or the ones that cost a fortune?

"An HDMI cable can't improve the quality of the video and audio travelling through it. The digital signal consists of zeros and ones, you'd need active electronics to process the data to generate more attractive video and audio, outputting it as new zeros and ones. In other words, the best a cable can do is to transmit the signal without any errors"

I can relate to what you saying, however you may laugh and buy these PREMIUM cables (i assume this means they top quality then). Maybe you don't notice anything at the start, but give it a month or a couple of months and you in the middle of watching a good film. Then the cable quality presents itself and it will randomly cut out for a couple of seconds throughout the film. I'm not saying spend £20 on a cable but most of these £1 cables are rubbish. I used to make cables myself (not HDMI) and always fully tested them and used good materials, so it annoys me when i see people selling rubbish.

Just to ensure i'm not doing this seller any injustice, i did a quick look on the reviews. Amazing how a user mentions this same issue: Check the 1 star review. The 5 star reviews are no doubt by people who haven't experienced the issue just YET, they may only have had the cable a couple of weeks and left the review (like most people). A bit like when you buy a LED bulb from ebay and it lasts something like 20,000 hours ( are you going to wait after you've used it for 20,000 hours, hmm maybe not) and after 6 months it starts flickering and dies. Cheap and nasty rubbish driven by a market wanting cheap prices. :-(
