Well since converting to Aldi a few months ago I have no issue doing a full shop there. And no, I don't live on 5 different meals, or ready meals, I cook. You can knock up 100's of different dishes with the food they sell.

Awful 'newspapers' but worth the pain for the voucher.

    Excellent.

I await the "Should be off £25/£30/£35" complainers.

It should. Aldi have become far too complacent.

I used to go to other supermarkets for the things I couldn't buy in Aldi but I'm finding I have to do this less and less. In fact I could do with a bigger trolley sometimes!

Yes, you can and it will be mostly good quality too, but your diet will be somewhat restricted. I got sent to buy five ingredients for a baking project at home and only one of them was available in Aldi. On the other hand, if you want cold meats (excellent by the way) you have four or five choices of each - far more still if it's ham!

Yeah it is! I'm an adventurous cook, and rarely go elsewhere. A few essentials I need to get from other places (e.g. worcestershire sauce) and the rest can do in Aldi. You just have to more creative

Just seen this on their FB page. Much better for me that it covers until Saturday. I always buy two papers but usually have to do my second weeks shop a day early. Nice one ALDI!

love their mini beers at £3 odd, perfect fridge fillers. Easy to spend £40 if you're getting ale in there, wine aplenty!

I'm not quite there - for example last weekend I needed muffins and chives - both a no-go.

That said, once you get into the habit of shopping there (or Lidl), THEN going elsewhere, your bills drop like crazy.

It would be nice if their stores were slightly bigger...

Good thing about these shops is you can get everything you need cheaper and quickly. The big store are just too big and everythings all over the place.

Easy to spend £40 if you have children still in nappies. Around £4.69 for size 5. Good quality no leaks. Wipes are good too.

I am a great fan of Aldi and do 90% of my shopping there but they don't have the same variety as a normal size supermarket. However, what they have is real good value for money. My local store are increasing their range of products though all the time. I hope they buy the next door shop soon and add the floor space in!

Adli's great. I agree with most, there are a few things that we still need to get from other supermarkets. But on average it has saved us £110-£140 on our monthly shopping bill compared to Asda.:D

The other coupons were a bit poor this month, but spent £40 no problem tonight.

Have to admit I'm not sure what products are missing from ALDI, I admit I can't choose from ten varieties of baked beans, but why would I need to. The ones they sell are perfectly decent.

My weekly shop is £65-£70, so, I disagree.
