Went for this earlier this year. Quidco tracked and was then declined. Had a claim in for a month and still not resolved. I suspect it because I was a AA member about 3 years ago so keep an eye on Quidco.

This offer comes up regularly. I went for it last October, Good deal and hot IMHO.

I also was offered relay cover for £10 after 6 weeks and an upgrade to joint membership for £10 also. (This cover is for the car only)

    Internal gas supply
Call on a qualified engineer if there's a sudden gas leak between the mains supply and your appliance.

    Water supply pipe
Get help quickly if the pipe between your stopcock and the public supply gets blocked or cracked.

    Roof damage
Get emergency repairs to your roof, where there's a chance of flooding or a risk to your security.

    Internal electrics
Call on a qualified electrician if there's a sudden failure of all your lighting or power sockets.

    Pest infestation
Get wasp and hornet nests removed from your home by pest control experts.

    Security (keys, locks and windows)

Anyone else having trouble getting the site to recognise their car registration? I've typed in 4 different registrations so far, all of which are current and less than 10 years old and the site can't find details for any of them. Error message is telling me to ring to process application which obviously negates the £21 cashback benefit!

I think you need to place the space in the right place. It didnt recognise mine at first.

Man I can get my bike and my car covered for £14. now you don't get that every day.

No luck, tried all of them with a space, without a space, with 2 spaces!!!!

Thanks anyway but I'm going to give up before I get irritated by it. I hate useless company websites that aren't written well enough to do the job they're set up to do. Heat added as it's a brill deal for those who manage to get it.

Just a quick update. I've moved this back to deals as the OP is geared towards the breakdown cover and the price highlighted is the initial cost. Anything else is a bonus, so it can remain within deals.

Yes and they take the money from your card without warning you. That's largely why they make these offers.

Make sure you dont give a credit card, and cancel a direct debit once used.

you are never going to get quidco or TCB

went through this about 3 to 4 years never received any

    avoid it
it's shame if you are car is more than 10 years old then there is £38 or more for this

I signed up for the same deal back in February, the cashback tracked ok but the AA declined the payment.

Remember people that Quidco cannot be replied upon to be paid by any company signed up to it. So you may end up paying full price (which may be slightly more than other companies, but you were swayed to go with the AA due to the promise of cashback).

I can't wait to get rid of AA Motor cover - Quidco seem to have a relationship with them. They are the worst, and I got mugged into holiday insurance too - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Yea but the home cover is just them sending out an over priced tradesperson isnt it? I mean they actually fix the problem as well or am I being ultra pessimistic.

Can I ask does anyone know any options for a basic £28 (£5 after cashback) for vehicles over 10 years old?
Or would I have to go with personal cover for £40

I thought with the AA the car didn't matter, you're the member not the car - the advert used to say.

Am tempted by this, may sign up

Yep only valid for cars under 10 years old (I hasten to add my Y reg Astra 2.0DTI is a damn sight more reliable than some of our friends' 2 or 3 year old cars that arent looked after but O well?!), anyone know a cheap roadside recovery service for older vehicles?
