I've had this flavour before and enjoyed it, so bought a box of these again which arrived on Sunday.
They were all covered in a light grey-green mold!

Sadly it seems to be a problem with some of the Amfit Plant based bars. Still worth a try at this price though. Just keep your fingers crossed you get a box without the BONUS mold topping.

You sure it's not just chocolate bloom? Some of the review pictures on amazon look an awful lot like bloom rather than mould. (edited)

13% or reviewers have given this 1 star. I haven't seen that many people leave a negative comment / review on Amazon for a long, long time.
Looking at the mold in the photos, it looks like Amazon should recall these as mold is potentially a toxic hazard.
    No wonder they are cheap.

Avoid these! Unless you like eating mould

Why don't u guys just eat real food?

Now, now. Don't go confusing people. If people want to consume protein they should just drink milk and eat eggs.
And yes, I agree with you

Thanks for the heads-up. I like these bars and it's normally hard to find nice tasting vegan ones

200kcals for 14.5g protein isn’t good. Cheap yeah. But I’ll stick to grenade bars.

I bought a box - if they're mouldy, then I'm pretty sure Amazon will refund in full if you go through their customer service. If they're not mouldy, then got a box of protein bars for a fiver!

Had loads of boxes of these never mold, bloom, but no mold (edited)

The protein is even more when you add the mold. 😝

I've recieved it, it's gloom as other have said, not mold. Some people are so clueless

I don't quite understand protein bars. Just drink a shake, eat a handful of peanuts or 3 eggs. Is it all marketing or am I missing something here? (edited)
    DiuLeiLoMo's avatar
I suppose the main advantages is it doesn't need to be refrigerated as well so you can keep it in your bag until eaten. If it's just about having a cheap protein snack, I prefer to munch on Kabanossi (polish sausage) which is £5.99/ kg at my nearby ethnic store as opposed to 11/kg for these bars. It's also about 26g protein/100g. That and peanuts (edited)
