What are the chances of customs/import fees with ordering from Amazon Germany?

    It's already included!

If the 7700X is at that price and the A4 platform is dead, selling the old parts and buying a new one seems like a better option. Unless we are moving from the oldest and weakest processors and we don't want to spend even one penny more.

Is this just a slightly cheaper alternative to the 7800x3d? (edited)

It's for a different motherboard, ram etc. A different eco system.

How does this compare to a 5600x - worth the upgrade or no?
    vI_M4YH3Mz_Iv's avatar
Firstly it on the resolution, and also the games.
If your at 1080p then he'll yes. 1440p also probably yes. 4k not so much.
Have a look at soke benchmarks comparing them on YouTube.

Ultimately it depends on the price to upgrade tbf
