Use code 18WDEALS at checkout to get one for 5.99 or two for 10.98. If ordering two you also qualify for free delivery.

I bought, white in colour, the one noted above. The cable is very short and "curly" - it tends to pull at the phone when mounted and connected, using the phone as a GPS means in our car a longer lead is needed. If the passenger is using the attached lead connected to a tablet or phone, and using it, again it is not long enough imo.

The Apple port (not used for an Apple device) supplies 2.0A
    The android Port supplies 2.4A

The other one that we bought is the two port one which offers better versatility, not having the same issues with the cable length.

The plugs themselves are short and stubby and do not have a power light indicating connection.

Both plugs have been great and do not seem to get as hot as the cheaper types we have bought in the past. Using decent cables, bought from eBay, we have made great use of these and, unlike the cheaper ones, they charge up the phone well as it is being used as a GPS.

The black two port one is the same price as the one noted above, that would be my choice.

    Heat added.

@corderz - just before you pay for the item untick the paid postage delivery option and select the one to reflect the super saver delivery, they always add that postage cost to most items, and I have nearly been caught out in the past.

They also have a dual USB version for the sand price, I wouldn't bother with the built in cable, it is just restrictive

The 1A cheap ebay ones aren't good enough for using GPS and maintaining charge nevermind actually topping the battery up. Using 3G data, GPS, screen on, graphics processing, voice navigation etc. absolutely kills the battery of any smartphone and 1A won't do the job.

I bought this a few days ago. There is a code on the Amazon page which gives £1 off I think it was. Nice little device. It's a coiled cable but that helps it be neater in the car.

Bought the powergen version, similar spec.... Amazing! Very fast charging, far superior to my old Griffin 2A

On this occasion I have not bought any, mine were bought a little will ago. The free postage offer is just top /central on the page before you agree to pay. It is always there provided that the item qualifies for free super saver delivery.

For some reason I can't edit my post using the Android app?
Buying just one of these does not qualify for free delivery. It states that on the items page...

£6.99 & eligible for FREE Super Saver Delivery in the UK on orders over £10.

I've had an unbranded one from fleabay, I tested and it put out 400mA at most when it was labelled as 1A and couldn't maintain my phone's battery when using GPS for a 4.5 hour trip (even with the screen off and just using voice directions).

For 99p, including delivery, what do you expect.

    YMMV.

Heated for the Anker one and ordered the dual USB socket one, thanks op, though please edit to mention free delivery only if you make the order up to at least £10.

Nice piece of kit, Ordered 2 - shame the code wont work - the error message saying that this promo code cannot be applied to the order. Still better than the charger I have in the car now.
  27. hodgster's avatar
Awesome bit of kit. I have a Note3, and even running GPS with (big) screen on bright setting, streaming Internet radio into my stereo and acting as a WiFi hotspot for others in the car, it still *just* about manages to add charge....This was but a dream on previous cheapo chargers I've bought.

Whether you buy this one or the one without the integrated lead, make sure the other lead(s) you buy are decent quality too if you're going to charge a second Android device. I find Official Blackberry cables which can be had for 2 quid on ebay are pretty good.
  28. kloqda's avatar
I cannot use the code for the black ones, only this white one (2 USB ports) is still available for the discount.
Still great deals! Get 2 @10.98 for free delivery. Thanks OP!

i have been using a no name brand from amazon for 1.98 delivered, one port delivers 2.1 amp and the other 1 amp, works great although isnt very sturdy, but has blue led for showing connection. powers both my phone and nexus 7 at same time without issues. have two of them in my car and both work fine

but am tempted by this deal as power output of 2nd port is more although 3 times more expensive than my cheap no name brand that works great for more than a year now.
