Will do for the Mrs to write and order the grocery shop for the house, plus I can leave her tasks on it for her to complete throughout the day

Are covered for 12months though in regards to issues like that.
Dependent on life style most people bump and mark them so for a discount like this maybe worth it.

Bought boxing day 2012 for this price. Limited support no updates but ok for general use. If you are heavy user this will lag so if you can afford it get. kids have samsungs which are much better.

Bought one in the 2012 Christmas tesco sale and still going strong running a Custom JB ROM.

Never had any wireless issues myself and the only stuttering issue with video was with some versions of the Youtube app but this is no longer an issue.

Considering that we are more than a year down the line, £49 would be too expensive new, let alone refurb.

I have two of these and they are ok but have too many bugs to really recommend. The worst is that apps randomly claim not to be installed and then have to be reinstalled. It is becoming a pain. Also, the wifi gets in a loop of turning off and on. By no means perfect. Perhaps that is why they were released at a discount and then pretty much disappeared from the shelves?

Had the wifi on/off looping issue with out-of-the-box firmware.
Haven't seen it yet on the 20130202 firmware: a80cobalt update.img.

Well my cobalt finally gave up the ghost two weeks ago, got a sumvision cyclone from ebuyer but it wouldn't start after about 3 days of use,and have just had my replacement sent today. It is doa so will be going back and I want a refund. I am now thinking about another cobalt because for all the troubles reported it was used everyday for minecraft and other games and lasted over a year ...all for 49 quid at Christmas 2012!

bought one middle on Jan and went back last week as audio jack had broken. replacement arrived today and its covered in chips and marks, dead pixels, about 5 attempts to get it to boot up and yes WiFi on off at will.
Really disappointing that Tesco are the peddling this tat, just sending out returned items over and over.
