sorted byYep, well done. Most second-hand stuff is cheaper than new stuff. Shall I post a deal for some part-worn underpants which are cheaper than new ones? Would you vote it hot? GTFO! X)

scotland comes up becuase as the crow flies it's 20miles or less from Larne. Such a pain.
There's a guy in Ballyclare does part worn, ( usually nearly new with little mileage or no obvious wearing down of tred) for a very reasonable price, especially if you are after the more expensive types.
ASDA - £63.58
My local - £60
Don't believe the hype, shop around and haggle a deal.
Use this site for most of my tyres great prices for Toyo T1R
It makes it so easy to compare tyres and find a cheaper make that has the requirement you want the most. I want a quiet tyre, and its amazing how many cheaper brands are better than the more expensive ones. It used to be just pot-luck finding a decent tyre.
For example in my cars size:
£47.87 Runway brand tyres are better than £82.89 Bridgestone tyres ( same fuel efficiency and wet weather performance - but much quieter at 69Db compared to 72Db )
Its going to shake up the tyre industry and stop the big brands making crap tyres and relying on their reputation ( and advertising) to shift them.
There's so much more to tyres than just wet weather and fuel efficiency.
Worth reading some reviews as companies such as Bridgestone maybe pricey but they have massive R&D departments, I currently have Potenzas on my car and cannot fault them. Two cheaper brands I've used in the past were Kumho (bit pricy nowadays) and Maxxis, both very good and worth a look.

Yeah I compared with my 'normal' 2 locals and was marginally cheaper on this deal - probably be a load of old rubbish I'll soon find out when I get it fitted tomorrow !!!
Michelin 265/70R16 112H Latitude Cross
Asda £131.45
TS £160.50
Hot & worth a look, if only to get Tyre Shopper tpo price match
Depends on the brand, they offer different things incl quality.
Once Asda gets this up and running with some degree of success...then the rest of the Supermarkets follow!!
Most of the big players now sell other things besides groceries... Banking, Insurance etc...
Oh... I see a price and service war....Great for car owners...But lousy for independent Garages
Asda weren't the first Tescos been doing it for years
Also don't rely on number plate to get correct tyre size. I entered mine and it wasn't even with correct the diameter
Is that fitted and all inclusive of valves balancing and old tyre disposal ? Genarally you can add upwards of £10 to your final price for these items. Asda price is all inclusive fitted balanced valves and disposal.

Michelin PS3 are a fiver cheaper than Blackcirlces. Actually there appears to be larger range of tyres all at cheaper prices. I'll be sure to check this out next time I need a set replaced.
Won't need them for another 18k, they last for ages.
