    After seeing an interview with Bruce Campbell I believe this is the end of the TV show. He didn't seem happy as apparently it was a very highly pirated show which was in some way responsible for its demise as it didn't get the viewing figures it deserved. Can't believe though as a kid who watched the first 'video nasty' film on VHS in the early 80s that years later there would be a TV show that was even gorier. Did it corrupt me as a child like Mary Whitehouse said it would?? Of course it did. I now have an irrational fear of been stabbed in the ankle by writing implements

    apart from the fact the closure is rubbish. massive fan of all 3 films, but this peaked after about three episodes of season one.

    Season 2 excellent
    Season 3 meh imho

    It doesn't end at season 3, I'm sure there's more to come. Its just not out yet.

    I saw the Evil Dead at the London Film Festival in 1981. I would say that half the audience walked out before the end! Genius what Palace Pictures did to market it. They actually put it out on VHS the same day it came out in the cinema.

    I really enjoyed all 3 seasons, actually something worth watching for once. Nah man you don't want to know if it just stops....that would be a spoiler within itself.

    Bizarrely, I'd never seen any of the Evil Dead movies before I watched all 3 seasons of this, but it didn't really matter because the movie backstory is pretty well explained. Loved the over the top gore and it was fun to see Lee Majors turn up as Ash's dad in seasons 2 and 3.
