Details

Featuring an assortment of rugged elements and shock absorption components geared for the trails, the GEL-TRABUCO™ TERRA shoe is for runners seeking a lightweight design with advanced traction for uphill and downhill sections.

Formed with a multi-directional stretch mesh upper, this style adapts to the foot's natural motion while creating excellent airflow to keep feet cool. Providing more room for the toes to spread out more comfortably, the shoe also offers an excellent midfoot fit that's met with a supportive feel. Additionally, the sockliner uses fewer resources for the coloring process to follow a more sustainable manufacturing approach.

Equipped with many of the same technologies that the GEL-TRABUCO™ 9 shoe has, this model features a FLYTEFOAM™ midsole compound that generates a softer lay down at footstrike.

GEL™ technology cushioning improves shock absorption in higher impact areas while the technical tread pattern is designed to deliver excellent traction on a wide range of trails.

Features

  • Breathable mesh upper
  • No-sew overlays improve support
  • GEL™ technology cushioning
  • FLYTEFOAM™ technology cushioning
  • Sustainable sockliner dye
  • Lugged outsole pattern improves traction on off-road surfaces

Thanks for posting, heated and ordered. £5 for p&p stinks a little but still great value.

I thought trabuco were overpronation shoes? Doesn't seem to say here but mine are?

The Terra version is neutral pronation. Currently have a pair, but have splashed out on another at this price (edited)

Trabuco Terra vs Trabuco 9 from the other hot post?
NHS code doesn't seem to be working on these either, even with fresh account.

What is the sizing like on these, are they like adidas and do you have to order one or two sizes up?

I recently ordered an Adidas 12 and it went back as it was too small. I’ve been wearing size 12 in ASICS for many years now

    P.S. It’s free returns. (edited)

Not bad for 32quid even if you're not a runner and need something for day to day/gym use. Might even be cheaper than the popular lidl trainers.

Does anyone have these ? If so are they neutral? I need overpronation .
ASICS are slow to ship so don't buy if you are in a rush
    tek-monkey's avatar
    tek-monkey
It appears that these are neutral, you need the non-terra for over pronation.

Why are asics colours never subtle, like a black shoe with a white sole?

In the Reebok deal I posted someone’s asked the opposite and why Reebok are never colourful and always black

For trail? I tend to avoid waterproof as when you tread in a puddle it fills your shoe and never goes out!
Any asics with GTX on the end should be waterproof

All depends on the model. You'd need to find comparable models with each brand.

Are they slippery on wet floors?
    AppStar's avatar
    AppStar
These are trail running shoes, not regular trainers. I wouldn’t recommend running with them on a wet floor. Walking would be fine but not running unless you want to risk slipping.

Waterproof ones are the GT-X variants.  Search on the site for GT-X and that will show you the goretex options.
