When it comes to creating a performance running style with sustainable practices, the GEL-NIMBUS LITE 3 shoes are the green standard.

Designed with at least 20% recycled materials, the mesh upper provides better support, breathability, and comfort.

The midsole’s FF BLAST cushioning creates a softer landing and a more responsive toe-off. With laser cut details in the tooling, these features lighten the load placed on your body and help conserve resources.

Features

  • FF BLAST cushioning creates a softer landing and a more responsive toe-off
  • At least 20% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions
  • Laser-cut sidewall detailing improves deformation at footstrike
Rearfoot and forefoot GEL technology improves impact absorption and creates a softer feeling at footstrike
  • The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology
Full-ground contact design creates a smoother and more efficient ride

I've never heard of this model before now, but doing some research the consensus seems to be:
    Novablast for speedier runs
    Nimbus for slower long runs
Nimbus Lite 3 (this deal) for daily training 10k or less runs (edited)

Always seems to happen with Asics deals on here - they go hot quickly and their website can’t keep up with orders/stock levels

Same price for the women's version too
ordered a pair for me and a pair for the missus (edited)

Thanks got a women's pair for me. I worry more about state of my feet from cheap trainers than being in women's colours. So I'm happy. Did go a half size up just as maybe will be a little bit narrower and am between 7 -7.5 anyway.

Dont know much about running shoes but just need something decent for workout in the gym and treadmill. Hope this does the job for me! Placed an order now.

Nimbus Lite? They seem to be a alternave to the Nimbus, pretty much a totally different shoe whilst trying to capitalise on the name.

For this money they still seem like a great buy, I'm just wondering how they fit? The Nimbus 23s I bought were a tiny bit tighter across the forefoot some other Asics I've had (edited)

Excellent trainers for the price, I picked up a pair a couple of years ago for a similar price. They are very well made & lightweight.

Right, the next time an excellent ASICS deal pops up noone is allowed to buy the size 9s before I get post in the comments to confirm that I have successfully bought mine.

    Set up an alert.

This surely isn't equivalent to the nimbus 24? Asics indicate that the cushioning is lower? Quick look on run repeat confirms this.
    Roarster26's avatar
Yep FFblast + on 24s this shoe has ff blast

Link is still working ok for me?

Maybe go direct to the Asics Outlet site and search for them if it’s not working for you.

Would these be ok for tennis? Got a bit of Achilles tendinitis so sizing up whilst that improves and don’t want to spend a fortune. The resolution 9s don’t seem to be on offer in the outlet

Running shoes don't have any lateral stability. I wouldn't risk it if I were you. Try researching court shoes with extra cushioning. Even a pair of well cushioned basket ball shoes might be better? (edited)

Would these be good for walking long distances? Good for wide feet?

Great deal. OOS in most sizes in the time it took me to register
  24. moosex11's avatar
Ordered but let's see if they honour. I tried the nimbus 800 offer a month ago for £21. A week later order cancelled as OOS, they have had them in my size on their website ever since but at £49. CS don't even acknowledge the fact.

For anyone that missed out worth checking later as they do random restocks usually

Thanks for putting this up, well worth a go for general day to day trainers. Thanks

Good for the price but I'm just weary of the more expensive pairs. The quality of the mesh upper is very poor on ASICS in general ....I have 3 pairs different styles same material and in a couple of months the mesh tears where it creases along the folds as you walk.
Had one of the pairs replaced by ASICS warranty.
They are comfy though and cater for my over pronation so I have little other options other than to sow up the tears as they appear.
