About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
At a time when football clubs are coming under increasing scrutiny over high ticket prices, this is an excellent opportunity to see some of the world's best players in the premier club competition.
Buy one full price ticket for MCFC v CSKA Moscow (GBP 25) and get another for nothing. This only works for one free ticket at a time so if you want more you need to go through the checkout process again after paying.
The match is on Bonfire Night (5th November) and UEFA restrictions mean CSKA fans are barred from attending so would be ideal for families or anyone who wants to help create an excellent atmosphere to spur the boys on!
Registration required to purchase tickets but is free.

Imo they are a charity club
not a Man City fan at all but great deal for great fans
what diff does it make if its 1934, its in the record books
The reason these seats are so cheap is because nobody wants to go at full price. If they could charge full price, they almost certainly would.
Are they doing BOGOF for the home matches against Man Utd? I somehow doubt it.

Yes in 1934,what of it ?
Did you see they still hold the record attendance 84,569.
In my opoinion you don't have a clue what you are talking about !
Did you see that ludicrous display last night? What was Wenger thinking?
The thing about Arsenal is, they always try to walk it in!
Maybe those three stars above their badge represents the amount of times they've sold out their ground.
Maybe some fans from that two Bob outfit over the road might take a couple of freebies........after all, it's not like they'll be doing anything that night X)
I really hope that some fans will be able to get to a Champions League match because of this deal, but it does show yet another example of what a poorly supported club they are. Empty seats all the time.
You can buy the best players, the fancy stadium, but you can't buy real fans.
Ooops, I forgot....
......none of their fans are local
Anywhere you like, there'll be plenty of room.
Utd look after their fans and generously make it compulsory for their season ticket holders to purchase every home game ticket in every game in every competition whether they can attend or not.
City punish their fans by having cl,fa and league cup schemes with an option of opting in or out.
I now have a free ticket and i feel so sad. X)
As pointed out already on the thread the majority of City's fanbase are from a working class background and some fans spend all year paying off their season ticket and simply can't afford to then shell out £50 every other week for cup games.
City would make more money selling 35000 tickets at full price than they will selling 45000 at half price so should be congratulated, not ridiculed for giving more fans the opportunity to attend a game.
They didnt announce anything till about twenty minutes betore kickoff.
I risked my life to get there, and the pansies didnt turn up.
Errrr .... Bonfire night , some people may have to think about the family and their kids that day ....
Typical comment from another club supporter , who does NOT go to games
But but but they are they are the best supported Club in Manchester, surely the best supported Club in Manchester could sell out for what is regarded the best football competition, Manchester is blue after all:|. Or maybe, they arent as well supported as they want the World to believe.
Obviously it's bonfire night and I doubt there will be much atmostphere without any away fans to have banter with but when will owners realise that fans can't afford to go to the matches anymore? A full stadium should be more important than money but the majority prefer to see half empty stadiums week in week out.
20,000 tickets sold x £25 = £500k
60,000 tickets sold x £12.50 = 750k
Because they dont need actual fans to turn up, they just make up the attendences....

"When United played Cluj in the Champions League in December, the crowd was announced as 71,521. In fact, the police say it was 46,894." X)

Sure football rivalries are fun to have but bloody hell, some people are a bit extreme. Its only a sport, people act like another teams killed your family. Just chill out and enjoy the game. It's as bad as consoles/pc arguments.

No matter how many times I read that, I still find it hard to believe that it's true. I know it is, but I just can't believe that anyone would buy a season ticket under those conditions. Still, it's not too bad this year as they don't have to buy CL tickets but even so...
How strange
It's a great price and a hot deal. I don't think anyone is questioning that.
I just find it strange that people are holding City as the bastions of decency and fair pricing. They're offering them at this price because people don't want to go/they don't have enough fans.
When Argos sell off some old stock cheaply because people don't want it, should we congratulate them and say they're doing something great for people? No. It's the first lesson in economics: supply and demand.
