3 of us just did this in store and added a large Whopper meal for £5.99. We shared the large chips as, to be fair, these burgers are massive and quite tasty actually. Thought it was pretty good value for under a fiver each? First time we'd had fast food in yonks and was pleasantly surprised. (edited)

These are the double whoppers, but think it is just with the spicy mayo sachet on top which it 30p.

I miss the Wednesday £2 Whopper, used to be free Whopper with £3 spend but that is no longer showing on my app

Seems like they replaced the Wednesday offer "Spend £3 and get Whopper free" with this nonsense.

Something going on with the app, I've seen three different people with three different pages, no offer, £1.99 offer and spend £3 get Whopper free. Mine had no offer and have been going a lot recently.

Dam is that the price for a Whooper now, at a normal non motorway Burger King??
    zomgwtfbbq's avatar
No. A whopper is £6.19 and that is the sucker's price for those that don't use their app. You can get a large whopper meal for £5.99 via their app on most days, which is pretty reasonable compared to the likes of McDonalds.

£8.59 for a burger, all thats wrong now you could probably make two yourself for that price (although i realise the special offer is for 2)

I totally agree but if two of you are adamant you want one, half price (still ripoff)

I had a Double Whopper in December for the first time in many years and I was surprised that the quality of the beef is still very poor. I would have expected them to move with the times, but they haven't. It was mostly gristle getting stuck in my teeth :/ I do not get how anyone looks at this and see's a good deal. A £1 Big Mac I understand, but £8-9 gets you a lot of ingredients to make it yourself.

    wagyu burger for that lol.

what the hell happened to fast food? mcdonalds is this price for a meal now to the point there heavily advertising the "saver meals" cause there normal meals are to dear now.

Been the same since Covid, disruption in supply lines caused inflation.

Still a rip of even with the offer

Was surprised and disappointed that Burger King are asking for £11.49 for a large meal with either of the new Peppercorn burgers. Times two and that’s almost £23. This isn’t fine dining, it’s a rip-off!

Fast food has never been fine dining.

Never paying that for a junk food burger.

FYI: one of these bad boys is 928 Calories, 54.2g fat and 15g of sugar. Don't get me wrong I enjoy a good burger and I'm sure this will be nice but the stats seem a bit excessive so I'm out

    Proteins?
  12. Twelvetoes's avatar
Is the proper price for 1 really 8.59
  13. TristanDeCoonha's avatar
Imagine, or preferably not, the price at a motorway service station or airport, and they won't have the deal
    Cremoso99's avatar
And that's the only place I ever see a Burger King.
  14. anthonygoodwin81's avatar
Tried this today, it ruins the whopper, would not recommend but a good price as they are doubles

Got this yesterday. It's a huge 🍔, easily double the size of a whopper! Struggled to finish it. (edited)

Good deal but not available in my area. I don't think it has rolled out to most of their stores yet.

I live where there is only a macDonalds, and , quite frankly, eating a MacD is like eating vaguely meat flavoured cotton wool. Tasteless and indigestible.

Whooper or Wendy's would be preferable. (edited)
    Cremoso99's avatar
McDonalds have changed the way their cook their burgers, tighter seal on the grill for hotter burgers and have also introduced "brioche-style" buns.

Hope it works because lukewarm burgers were always their biggest problem. (edited)

Clearly no one goes to Five Guys here
    Cremoso99's avatar
Overpriced, but it looks like Burger King is too and Five Guys is better.

In South Yorkshire we have Urban Fresh which is similar to Five Guys but a bit cheaper. Normally where I go for a burger or make my own.
